  1. You can stop receiving emails. Just open one of the emails and scroll to the bottom. There's an option to opt OUT of getting an email every time someone posts under a topic you're subscribed to. I did it!! Ps.... I rarely come here now, as opposed to before the change, when I used to LIVE in here. Now, maybe every 10th day I peek in
  2. What a wonderful thing!! Thanks for the pep talk!
  3. Shazam, me too. I miss the old ways.
  4. Let me know, I'll fill her position! LoL.
  5. Yes, we know.... And it's AWESOME!

  7. http://www.salon.com/2013/10/02/my_embarrassing_picture_went_viral/ Personally, I think she looks great in the picture... I'm a Laura Croft fan as well!
  8. I don't even know how to respond to that one.
  9. If she NEVER talks to you or eats with you again, thank the heavens. Not so much for her indiscretion (we all act the fool now & then) but mostly because of her reaction to you standing up for yourself and calling her out on her stupidity.
  10. Thanks, Carol!! I'll tell you what I've done today. Early in the morning I went to BJ's and bought my BOOST Hight Protein shakes case so I can have those to fall back on (I've been buying Muscle Milk at the store and they are PRICY). Also, one of the things that REALLY helped me stay on track before was setting my alarm to 4 hours every time I ate. I wouldn't eat before that alarm went off, and it was pretty accurate because I would be getting hungry every 3 1/2 hours. I'll do two days of LIQUIDS starting tomorrow and that should straighten me out. Ps..... No sliders today, only shakes and solid protein

  12. OH, NOOOO!!! I did what you suggested and looked at old pics... THE HORROR!! LoL. Lets get it together!!
  13. Guys, I'm here to fess up. After nearly three and a half weeks of my ordeal, I've been doing really bad. I've gotten two fills since then but I'm eating when I'm not hungry & eating sliders & drinking juices. Someone needs to kick my ass. Everyday I wake up and say: today's the day (typical fat person "determination") but I know the "day" won't come until I get serious. Gggrrrrr
  14. A friend did... Gained 15 lbs only to be denied
  15. We usually don't "complain", per se
  16. Mmmmm, I hope it's swelling. I'll stuck to warm liquids for tomorrow. Thanks, NaNa
  17. I went in for a fill today and everything was fine all day.... A little while ago I had something (can't remember what) and got this weird sensation in the middle of my chest (kinda between my b@@s) Just now, I took 1/2 of a sleeping pill with some cold tea and I feel the same sensation. It's like a burning sensation... But not of "fire", its more like what you feel when you eat a York Peppermint patty. Has anyone felt this after a fill? There's no pain, and it doesn't really bother that much. It's just WEIRD.
  18. Many people, my self included, find that things get easier after day 3. I know it's easier said than done, but occupy your mind with other things like reading. Also, visualize your liver getting smaller, therefore having a much easier surgery. That worked for me. Hang in there.
  19. Missing the old way of doing things. I can't find LapBand forums easily anymore.
  20. I only need ONE pillow to prop me up while I sleep..... I still use two (because I'm so used to it) but I don't feel like I'm dying when I only have one.
  21. No thank you. LoL. I bet they're wonderful kids.
