  1. wow this head hunger is no joke, I think this has truly been my greatest battle since I've had the surgery, but we can master it one step at a time....
  2. my Dr said the reason for not eating is because you have to give your stomach time to heal, due to some swelling, and they don't want you to have any irritation, you could cause damage also I think, but the Dr really should have explained to you why you are to wait 24 hrs, don't over do it and just do what your Dr says, its for your good...good luck
  3. thanks Lisa I will follow up my apt is Monday morning,
  4. Thanks Ladies I guess I do need to calm down Missy I do feel great I was just like what in the heck is going on all of a sudden I just got this appetite from no where, and Carolina I guess I need to work on the head hunger because I'm not sure if I'm actually hungry or not but I go in on the 16 to see my doctor, thanks a lot for all of your advice..
  5. maybe they need to do it under the x-ray to see if they can find your port, they had trouble locating mine now every time I go in for a fill I have to go under the x-ray to see the port, good luck, and I 100% agree with Missy

Thanks, there is no swelling and its not hot, reading your response helps me alot I did wear some jeans that kept rubbing up against the area my port is located wright under left rib cage and sometimes clothes rub up against the area, but I have never felt it like this, its just a sore aching feeling and I walked 4 miles yesterday for the first time so that may be the cause also, thank you ill watch it, I think I just got a little worked up....thanks again <3

  19. Great link thank you
  20. Honestly I try to avoid a lot of negativity because half of the people that is being negative only wish they where able to get the surgery but can't afford it, so they get on these forums and try to discourage the ones who have taken a step to get healthier, I look at this way I was 300lbs I had so many complications high blood pressure, I WAS a diabetic so if that didn't kill me then I figure Im here for a reason, obesity can kill also, so to the negative people out there please get your self a life and leave the ones who are living a healthy life along...BLOOP.....
