  1. Safety first while using sharp objects! Wear these. ??
  2. I'm impatient for my revision, but I don't have anxiety over it. I've never really been an anxious type person. But I've read enough about anxiety to know that it sucks for those that battle it. I hope your anxiety eases up and pre op passes smoothly and quickly for you. ?
  3. I had my Lap Band removed last April and awaiting revision to RNY also. And yeah I'm having to do the regular pre op program with my surgeon...
  4. Hide this from @MiniGastricBypassDude!!!
  5. This looks different. I'm going to try it. Thanks for sharing.
  6. It's like a crab meat coquette. Eaten with hot sauce.
  7. Now I'm craving a devil crab. Ugh, lol.
  8. I'd like to cook for my son everyday, but other than that, no, I like my peace and quiet.
  9. Be thankful. Lap Bands blow. But not in the good way. ?
  10. Omg! That looks delish! I just googled this name and it's also called Norway lobster. I've never seen these where I live. I live on the Gulf and I can get shrimp right on the dock when the ships come in.
  11. I did the same thing! With my Lap Band, if I got nervous or stressed, my band would tighten up. Like get swollen and I couldn't get food down. I'm really hoping that things will be different after this revision.
  12. ? Hahahahaha! I love the way you think!
  13. I rarely dine out. I always felt it was such a temptation and I'd screw up because I have less control over what goes into my food. Hopefully after this revision it'll be easier to dine out. Cause also when I had my Lap Band, I'd often have to leave the table due to food getting stuck. It became stressful.
  14. Lol @ Heck no. Yeah that's smart, living with others and saving up. Hey, it helped you afford your surgery, so it's a good thing. Especially in this crappy economy. My son will be 22 next month and already moved out. So I'm enjoying peace and quiet now. ?
  15. I live alone. I should get some crab legs soon. ?
  16. Yeah it's interesting how surgery changes what we primarily desire.
  17. First of all it's, "You're" ?‍♀️ You just can't comprehend the English written word. The sleeve surgery isn't personal to me. I was simply voicing that GERD is real and more severe than typical GERD a non-wls patient might experience. But you take this soooo personal. And I don't need help with anything. I've been a part of Bariatric Pal and a wls patient for nearly 10 years and have a lot of knowledge from reading over the years and nearly 10 years of personal experience. You're a few months into the journey and have a lot more to learn. Moving on! Moving on...
  18. Yes it is. VSG = Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy.
  19. I wasn't aware that I feard anything in this situation. What exactly do I fear, since you know me so well?
