Some people like to poke the wound :(
Keep your head up! There are always going to be negative people in this world. Do your best to just keep your distance from them. You're losing the weight for YOURSELF not for anyone else. Put yourself first and remember that the Lapband is a tool and it takes time for this tool to work.

Horrible Gas Pains
I had a hernia repair and my lapband placed on Tuesday May 21st. The first few days I was just taking my pain meds and sleeping a lot. On Saturday things changed for the worse! Ugh... I tried to go yard saling with my mom and not even 20 minutes into it I started getting dizzy, nauseous and I started sweating really bad. So I got into the car and had her crank up the AC and get me home. I then slept for 3-4 hours. When I got up I was drenched in sweat and felt the need to throw up. I've heard of the band slipping from throwing up so I was really scared. Eventually I just had to get it out. I puked for what seemed like 30 seconds... Then my stomach started RUMBLING! I've never heard of a rumble so LOUD. I think you can hear it from the other room. This rumbling has continued through the night and into today. I am on my two-week liquid post-op diet. I've been having broth, water, propel zero, protein shakes, and sf jello. So I don't think that it's from the lack of liquids. On top of the awful rumbling and the weird movements coming from my stomach I have had horrible diarrhea for the past few days. I've taking imodium and gas x and nothing seems to be working. Has anyone else experienced these symptoms? Any advice as to how to get rid of them? I am going to call my Dr. first thing Tuesday morning but I was hoping to find some in-home remedies.
