I just wanted to thank each and every one of you for your incredible inspirational stories! You help me when I feel down. I had my sleeve done June 2012. After a year I am down from 308 to 168. I will never miss those 140 lbs. I lost another person!!! I am proud of myself but I am also so proud of each and every one of you! You're all an inspiration to me! Today is my year Surgeversary! I have lost about 135 lbs to date! I could not be more proud of my accomplishments. I am grateful for my family, my friends and especially the love of my life! They have helped me succeed in my journey. Before my surgery you would never catch me in a bikini! I am now proud of how I look!

I think you are all doing an incredible job! Since I am more of a veteran, it's just over 10 months for me, I can say keep up the good work! I am down to 178 from 308. Never say you "only" lost this much or that much weight because you should be proud! No one said this journey was going to be easy but it is definitely worth it! I promise! Although I've gone from 308 and down to 178 as i weighed myself today, I feel like a Goodyear blimp! I just don't feel like myself. I am extremely proud of where I've come from but I just don't feel like it's good enough! Has anyone else felt down like when you look in the mirror you don't see your skinny self but the old you still? I hope this feeling passes soon!

Thank you so much! I love shopping! It's an awesome feeling asking if they have a size medium shirt in the back or a size 10 short or pants! I loved going summer clothes shopping and buying bikinis for vacation with my boyfriend! I used to wear a 24 and a size 3x shirt! Yeah I really need to focus on other things besides the number on the scale! Thank you for the support!

You remind me of myself!! I hated pictures of myself and refused to look in the mirror! When I take pictures now with my bf and I look skinny I always shockingly say "wow I look skinny here" and he always says " yeah that's what you look like" but to me I still see the 308 lb girl and not the 180 lb girl I am today! I hear it takes a while to see yourself how you look now and stop seeing the old you! I hope I can see the me I am today and not the old me soon! Keep up the great work in your journey

I had my sleeve surgery 10 months ago yesterday! I started at 308 and now am down to 180- I've lost 128 lbs! I could not be more proud of myself. Going from a size 24 pant and 3x shirt to a size 9-10 pant and medium shirt feels amazing! I struggled for 23 years with my weight! I can honestly say I have no regrets! To me I lost 447 lbs because I got rid of a guy who brought me down and wouldn't let me shine!! I have now found love with an incredible man who supports me and loves me unconditionally! I am proud of everyone who has had or going to have the sleeve! Be proud

It's been 10 months for me and although I eat more than I did when I was only a few months out, I still don't eat a lot. I am never hungry and I only eat because I have to. Food lasts me a long time too lol! I can't eat ground meat. It makes me sick! Food is definitely trial and error though! Congrats on your journey!

Coming from the same experience, you have to do what is best for you! My ex and I were together for 3 years. He continuously took me out to eat and I wasn't strong enough to say no. He wanted to keep me fat so no one else would want me. He told me this on many occasions! You have to sit down and talk to him, telling him how his words are hurtful and you need someone who is going to be supportive! I got rid of my ex and thank goodness I did! He wouldn't let me shine! My current boyfriend is supportive in everything I do! If your bf can't be supportive in your time of need, maybe he isn't someone you need in your life! You are beautiful girl! Keep up the hard work
