Hello all. I have a headache, part allergies, part learning to knit, and part debate!!! A good friend of mines dad died and his memorial is tomorrow. It is sort of sad, it really marks the first friend of mine (my age) who has lost a parent. It seems like I am not entering another part of adulthood. Sort of sucks. I like being my parents daughter. I will never find anyone who spoils me like my dad. My dad takes my coffee out of the microwave before his and my moms so it won't be too hot for me. He puts the right size ice cube in my coffee when he brews it. He would give me strawberry shortcake all separate so they don't touch. He opens and closes doors for me, and the list could go on. People say that is why I am not married because my dad has spoiled me so much. My mom is like my best friend. We have had our moments, but I can't imagine anyone else as my friend and mom. I can't understand what Laura is going through, since I still have my parents, plus her family was very dysfunctional, and I am sure that is adding to her feelings right now. I just want all my friends to get together and hug!! Hey maybe Obama and McCain can hug!!! I am really rambling here, guess it just kind of makes me feel like a different thing here. Well I hope everyone has pleasant dreams and sleeps well tonight!!

Laura way to go on the not smoking!! I hope you find it pretty easy!! When I quit smoking it was easy, don't know why, nothing special. I tried countless other times and I would go back. Must have been the right time and all that stuff!!! Good Luck!!!!!!!!! Too cute tummy!!!! My allergies are at a all time driving me crazy nose dripping need two corks point!!!

I sold my gold back in March when it was $1000 an ounce. Was a great time to do it, plus silver was real high. When I traded in gold and silver coins they were buying at 13x's the face value, Charlie called today because he wanted to turn in his silver half dollars, they were only giving 3x's. He said last time we were getting ripped off. I felt like saying see what happens when you wait!! If you do turn in old gold, go to a coin shop and they will buy it. Take out any stones, because they throw them away. I made a nice profit, I spent some in Texas, and had some left over. I learned to knit today. Although I started off with 20 stitches in a row, now I have 29? I don't know how I made extra stitches. I am trying to keep my hands busy. Sometimes at work I only have a few minutes, not enough time to do counted cross stitch, by the time I finally find out what I need to do, my next customer is there. I am rambling, don't know why. Ouch, sounds really painful!!! Hope Suzanne gets better, will not send her purple power though, I think she is overloaded with purple, how about beige power/thoughts?!? Kat you are sooo right, I wouldn't want to be president for anything. First, I am not into a "power" trip, second since I am single, I can't imagine having to take care of more than myself!! I took a mini nap, after 4 phone calls about the election and my mom calling I got up! I thought about you Pamela!!!!!! I am reading an interesting book called a bite at a time. I haven't gotten very far but it is about the inspiration/motivation you need to lose weight. If it ends up being as good as I think I will send it on to anyone when I am done. Hope the walk was fun. Just got home from work early. It was super slow this afternoon, so I totally cleaned out the refrigerator at work. It was so gross!! Some of that stuff is so old. I cleaned it also, left towels soaking the bottom gunk and told Charlie to clean it before he leaves. I have a feeling I will come to work Tuesday with wet towels in the bottom of the refrigerator!!! I think I might take a nap, while I am napping I am going to be sending purple vibes to PAMELA TO FINISH CHAPTER 4!!!!!!!!!!

Next week is the Autism walk, but I am going to work, it is a small walk, not even a mile, so it is not really worth it to me to miss my morning business. Good Evening!! Just got home a bit ago and read the posts that I missed due to work (darn work), and I was to touched. I was touched that we could reach out by phone when one was in trouble, both Tracy's had wonderful eloquent posts about 'the feeling' and Michelle, well you just said it all. It makes me so glad that I am a real part of this. I only wish we had internet at work, although I am always with somebody so I guess that wouln't work would it?
