  1. It says it is recommended that you have had at least one kid but it doesnt say you have to.
  2. I'm fine...I'm pretty sure my drs know how to read. I'm not the only one with mirena who hasnt had a child. I go to world class drs who know what they are doing. I dont stress what could happen.
  3. I was told muscle milk has a lot of fat in it and its more for people trying to build muscle not lose fat
  4. Diet soda is usually zero calories
  5. I feel like I am doing everything a 23 year old would do (besides drinking and eating)...at 8 days post op I went to a new kids on the block, boys 2 men and 98 degrees concert and dance and sang my heart out...just drank a lot of water.. ive been to the club at about 2 weeks post op and also drank water all night but had a blast. Our lives dont have to revolve around food or drinking. I'm 3 weeks post op today
  6. I'm worried about the positions being too deep. Some are already too deep for me
  7. I had sex after 4 days so it all depends on how you're feeling. I always had a great sex life and am only 3 weeks out so can't really comment on that. I am pretty flexible for a big woman but can't wait til my fiance can pick me up while doing it...it will make shower sex more fun.. I am losing weight and he is bulking up.
  8. That's not always true because I was considered a lower bmi of 40...its not low but its not high in the sense that it was 50 or more and I lost quite a bit the first 3 weeks out...30lbs. It varies by the individual. I just dont want people with a higher bmi to be upset that they dont lose that fast either
  9. Not everyone is told no soda forever yet some people are so quick to criticize. .my dr and nut says after 3 months if I feel comfortable drinking it ill be fine...I was never a sodaholic but id love to have a small small glass every once in a while. .like 1-2x per month.
  10. I'm only 3 weeks out and have lost 30lbs. I will check back at a month
  11. Get the Miraculous bra then...I think its called something else now...bombshell maybe. I have a few of them and it makes me feel so sexy.
  12. In case anyone is losing their boobs like me and needs cheaper bras for now in case they lose more....the Victoria's Secret semI annual sale is going on now. Havent bought anything yet but I got measured and went from a 38D before surgery to a 36D now 3 weeks later.
  13. Its been exactly 3 weeks since surgery and ive lost 30lbs! No stall yet (cross your fingers for me) but I guess its inevitable. I was okayed to go back to the gym at week one but I love that if I dont make it one day ( today is raining cats and dogs and we have a flood watch) I'm not gonna gain weight. Ive only been going about 3 days per week because on nice days id rather go for a long walk /jog outside with my dog.
  14. I too brought a bunch of clothes because I wasnt sure if id be hot or cold and I just wore the gown the entire time. When it came time for me to walk around I was glad I had some big underwear to put on...after the catheter was taken out. To the hospital I wore some yoga pants, a tshirt, undies and a sports bra and wore the same thing home, but had fresh underwear. I brought my makeup and a hairbrush because for me when im feeling like crap I like to look a little decent...I put the makeup on the next day (I only stayed one night). I also brought chapstick and that helped with the dry lips after surgery. Finally I brought an eye mask to wear over my eyes to block the light because I had a roommate, I brought headphones to block the sound of her hacking all night and the hospital gave me ear plugs...and the best thing I brought was my neck pillow...I used it when sitting up.
  15. I think there's some lazer/light therapy you can do to get rid of it
  16. Quick weight loss can cause your period.
  17. I know you were talking to JessicaAnn but any bc with hormones that are not centrally located can cause weight gain...it doesnt for everyone but some It does. Depo is the number one for that but again not everyone experiences that. I was on depo for a year and gained 20lbs.
  18. I was also told by others that even if you are in a committed relationship you should probably use birth control and condoms during your weight loss period because losing weight causes you to become very fertile...and a lot of women still get pregnant on even the most reliable b/cs.
  19. I guess ive tried everything lol. I was on nuvaring for like a month and it came out during sex. ..I dont know if I did it wrong but if your partner has a large member I wouldn't suggest it haha
  20. Just like diets with surgeons..obgyns differ so much in their opinions too..mine tells me mirena is perfect for people before kids lol.
