I am still new to this site, I have only posted once, but reading everything has really helped! My surgery was yesterday. Everything went great. While I was out i "dreamt" that they couldnt do it cause my liver was too big. Weird, I know. I was in a pretty good amount of pain when I woke up but after some Lortab and a few shots of Demerol I was much better. Still pretty sore today, but that is to be expected since it hasn't even been 24 hours. I have a little fever, has anyone else had this? I makes me a little worried but I am sure I will be fine. So excited that I finally have this now!!!! How long after surgery does it take for you to be hungry? Not looking forward to that. I hope that I am making sense, I am a little drugged up right now. hehehe. Hope everyone is having a great week! Also, when can I start having protein shakes????

I am going to Dr. Cywes too!!! You are going next Monday?? How exciting!!! Are you going to the surgery center or Memorial??? Also, what goes on at the pre op appt? I go today at 3 and just wondering what happens. You will have to let me know how Monday goes.

Hello all, I am having my surgery April 19th and was wondering how long it takes to recover. Was there much pain after the first two days???? I am suppossed to work two days after my surgery and am getting a little nervous about it. Any suggestions? Meredith

Just signed up to LBT and am loving all the info. I am scheduled for my surgery April 19th and can't wait!!! I have my pre op today so hopefully all will go well. Don't really know what todays appt will be like. Anyone from Jax, Fl?
