I had my fill on Friday last, I live six hours drive from my doc, I thought about hanging around and asked the doc, he said it wasn't necessary and he was absolutely right. If you are following the rules, you will be fine. I had all the same worries as you, but in the end it was all groundless I feel no different than before the fill, only less hungry. Good Luck I am sure you will be fine.
  3. These are my favorite threads of all, giving hope to us all. Well done you, what a tremendous achievement.
  4. First fill 3cc in a 10cc band. Doctor said you can't put 10cc in anyone know why not? I am happy at the moment but would still like to know the limit that can be put in 10cc
  5. Hi bubba831 I lost 8kgs (17.6lbs) from the day of my op, my fill was at five weeks and one day from surgery. Doc was pleased. It really did not hurt, I felt a slight pinch, and then I waited and doc said "your finished". Real easy, good luck with your first fill.
  6. I had the 1st fill and thought it would be magic, I kept to the 24 hour liquid rule and I must admit I thought no difference still hungry, that was on Friday evening. Got up this morning tried to eat one egg with one toast (was easily downing that before the fill) but whoppee half way through felt full stopped eating. I'm happy it's working, thanks for all the support.
  7. Well I have been reading about people going back every two weeks, trying to find the green zone. I know everyone is different and you have to work at this.
  8. I had my first fill today 3 cc everything went very well only a small amount of discomfort. The doc said after the fill "see you in two months" I thought it would be "see you in two weeks " very worried.
