One of my sleeved friends got like 400 2inch mega bounce bouncy balls at party city for $5- she has sworn off candy.
I always loved when people made little goody bags w/ a variety of candy & toys.

One year and nine months out, started at 340, down to 210...10 pounds under goal. I have been stalled here, staying within 5 pounds for 6 months.
I am not complaining, I am happy. Like when I was as kid and grew my hair long...you never have to cut it because it stops by itself.
My body found it's happy place.
I could lose another 10 pounds by having a doc slice off the excess skin but I think not. Perfection was not my goal.
I am 64 and have no desire to gyrate in front of screaming women who are stuffing dollars into my scanty clothing.
Must maintain some semblance of dignity!

I am almost 4 weeks post op and I confess that I stalk people with sleeves on my fitness pal to see how much they can eat. What they can eat.
I confess that I so hope and wish that I would be lucky enough to eat 4oz at one sitting.
I am very happy with my sleeve and have no desire to go back to where I was. I just want to be normal. I want to be able to look normal when I am dining with someone. ( I have not told but 3 people about being sleeved)
I confess that I feel encouraged when I see someone on here or fitness pal eating Pasta, McDonald's , Starbucks, cake or bread. Again, I do not want to live off these foods but a treat once in awhile would be great!!!!!!

Do it!!! No you're not too you. You are just right. Young enough the skin will hopefully shrink, not too big yet, healthy enough you'll bounce back quick.
I was 28 when I had mine- but only bc of insurance & $.
I regret spending so many years being fat. I lost all my friends over time bc i was so big I was no fun.

Once u hit puree you can take the mac n cheese flavor packet & incorporate i to something else that you can eat- like cream of wheat or mashed thinned potatoes?
We frequenly buy mac n cheese & throw out the Pasta. We use the flavor pack in chicken dishes, seasoning for veggies & more.
Experiment you'd be suprised how the flavor is what u craved.

I live in Northern Virginia. There's at least 20 of us I know from various support groups.

It was HEAVENLY!!!! Scrambled egg for Breakfast, refried Beans with cheese for lunch and Shelly's Ricotta cheese Bake for dinner!! Well, two tablespoons of each, eaten over 20 minutes, with a baby spoon.... But I. AM. SO. HAPPY. AND. PROUD!
AND I met my liquid intake, my Protein intake, and took all of my meds throughout the day at the right time!! Yay me!!!
