Hello guys, I had the band Tuesday 2/19. I'm already making plans to go back to work on or about 2/27. It is to soon? I feel chests pressure and pain on my port but it goes away once I take painkillers. I'm a social worker, so I do a lot of driving, talking, walking. How long did it take u to go back to work?

At least I didn't cheat my health insurance like hundreds here. I paid for my surgery cash and I didn't have to leave USA to have it done!

U cheated the day u put a band in ur body in order to lose weight. I did the same, that makes Every single one of us cheaters!

I never offered any advised. I said I mix liquids w meats and that I know it's bad for me. (Whatever!)

I cried. I felt alone and actually I was. I went to Colorado for surgery and I'm from NYC. I didn't bring anyone w me, so I felt sad. I also cried because I couldn't understand how a young girl who exercises so much ended up getting a band. I kept asking myself WHY didn't I control myself! I cried a lot... Sometimes I still do. I don't even know if I needed a band. When i gain weight I tend to lose it w diet and exercise. Sometimes I think I got the band just because I was able to afford it. But, that's the same problem w food. I eat it because its easy for me to afford it and to bring others w me to eat. I was 210 but i just gave birth. sometimes i thk I made a big mistake and that i Didn't need a band. I never told anyone this b4...

Then it's the port. Mine is towards the right, next to my belly bottom. Lots of pain there. Apply I've, it helps me.

The mall! As u walk u release gas, feel better, exercise. I was banded the 19. Still on leave. Never felt any pain until last week.

Such a bully, did u have to respond like that? Of course he/she doesn't want to rip out the stitches.... U always so negative!

I also was banded the 19. I'm supposed 2b on liquids but sometimes I eat regular food. I chew it real well. I kno I'm not supposed to, but I need energy to deal w my children. So far so good. from time to time, i get pain where my port is. I was supposed 2 go back to work money, but I can't. Im taking another week off. I apply ice to where my port is. It helps a lot.

I was banded the 19.$ we are supposed to feel hungry. Our band is in place but it will start to do its job after we get a fill. I mixed my liquids w meats. I also was starving. I know it's ad for me, but I sometimes eat a oil bit of regular foods. I have children. I need energy. What Protein did u get? Does it taste good?

Any good proteins at GNC, Walgreen? I live in NYC, we don't have walmarts.

Has anyone tried the HerbaLife protein? Some1 told me that it taste good.

Which one has good flavor?
