What post op diet phase are you supposed to be on?

Full liquids

Then you have no business even trying solid foods. You need to stick to your doctor's diet. Your stomach has been sutured and needs time to heal. By not following your doctor's diet, especially jumping to solid foods when you're supposed to be on liquids, you're risking serious damage to your stomach as well as causing your new band to slip.

Stick to the post op diet.

Why do you feel you need another 2 weeks? I would talk to your surgeon if your in that much pain!

Full liquids

I also was banded the 19. I'm supposed 2b on liquids but sometimes I eat regular food. I chew it real well. I kno I'm not supposed to, but I need energy to deal w my children. So far so good. from time to time, i get pain where my port is. I was supposed 2 go back to work money, but I can't. Im taking another week off.

I apply ice to where my port is. It helps a lot.
