I have told anyone who asks.....I am not ashamed or embarrassed to say I needed help with weight loss...I am living proof that lapband works and I am truly grateful that someone I know had it done and told me about it .....I hope maybe I am that person to someone else who is in the same position I was in 1 year ago....just want to pay it forward .........

Are they average or tall? My daughter bought me my first pair of AE jeans when I had my surgery as a gift now they are too big...looking to get some more...how much are you selling them for?

Well I survived!!!!!! The Dr. Is new to the practice and has done many fills..I told him I had a fear of needles so he used the lidocaine on me. It pinched a little and I felt a little pressure but the strangest thing was me sitting up with a needle in my port..I thought I was going to pass out. So it's clear liquids for me today and mushy food tomorrow and I return to my regular Dr. In 6 weeks....they will not give it to you any sooner...I now have 5 cc's in my port 3 from today 2 from day of surgery.. Thank you all for your comments...they really helped m today!

I was banded 2/5/13 and am down 30 lbs...tomorrow I get my first fill and I am so very scared! I hate needles #1 and the Dr. Doing my fill is new..I don know him and my usual Dr did not have an appointment for 2 more weeks,and I need a fill NOW. What should I expect tomorrow? Any advise or suggestions welcomed...Thanks y'all .

Tomorrow is the day for me also...back to the gym to do a kick boxing class. I had my surgery on 2/5/13 and have only lost 27 pounds...the scale won't MOVE....no fill yet that is on the 27th.

I have not had my post op visit yet..going this Wednesday....so I really don't know what to expect....it just seems crazy not to lose for so many days...I had 1 visit with a "nut" and it was really just pre op important things... I am so grateful for all the info i have received from all of you guys on here..just really confused.
