I relate to this post soooo much , I've been banded two years and have become very lax about food choices , my weight is up and I know it's not a fill issue but a food choice issue . Good for you for getting things in check ,it's a good motivator !

So far,
Crossing my legs
Returning a shirt because it was to BIG
Not constantly thinking of food
My husbands arms going all the way around me
Running up a flight of stairs
Not being winded bringing the laundry from the basement to the top floor

I lost a full shoe size,so they definitely change

Pasta to me now tastes awful like a lump of goo

A pound of FAT equals

I wish ppl would quit saying muscle weighs more than fat... Or at least explain it better. LoL

I was sick right before, my Dr told me as long as I didn't have a fever all was well, ask your Dr about it

I just got home and it's pretty dark so I had this thought - maybe if I turned off all the outside lights and looked around with the flashlight it might shine when the light hits it. And it did!!!! It was nowhere near where I thought it would be. It took all of one minute to find it! I'm so happy! Now I'd better get it sized before I lose it again... :-)

Know anyone with a metal detector? Not sure if it would work if it fell under the porch because of the clearance. Maybe a hoe to scrape it out?

When I first got my band in July, my big goal was to be 250 by this coming summer. At the time, it felt like such a reach! Completely doable, but a major reach! I would reach 250, I would go out and buy myself a new bathing suit for the first time in years, and I would swim my butt off all summer!
Well, since I floated past that weight goal back during the holidays, my NEW summer goal is to hit 100 pounds lost! That would put me at 218 by summer, another 18 pounds to get there. My weight loss has definitely slowed over the past few months (as I expected it would), BUT I CAN DO THIS! I just can't imagine how it will feel when people ask me how much I've lost, to look at them, flip my hair over my shoulder, stick my chest out and boast "100 pounds, baby!" LOL

I use to hate taking pics...I don't anymore! Thanks Miss Pealie, the best Lap Band in the world!

I am just getting returned hunger now 6 months out so I will be going for a fill but the first six months I had a complete absence of hunger and had to remember and sometimes force myself to eat as I had zero interest in food my family eating my favourite foods didnt have me so much as take a sniff , I think for some of us thats just what the band does
