Ok, I went out and bought a pair of Under Armour Heat Gear compression shorts and a t- shirt. I've worn them a couple of times, but it just feels weird. Anyone else noticed this? It's like what pantyhose feels like under clothes (yes, I've worn pantyhose - once, on Halloween), not that I would expect many guys to know that feeling. Anyway, it's like your clothes are really loose and just kinda "floating" around your body. I'm sure you need to wear them every day to do any good, I'm just not sure I can...

Ok, I have the same issue. But there's really no rhyme nor reason to what brings it on. I can eat something one day with no problems and the next day if I try it I'm off to puke it up after the second bite. And it doesn't matter how much I chew or how small a bite I take. I don't think I'm overfilled (been there, done that - this is different), but it's very frustrating because it seems to be happening more often lately. I have a fill scheduled for the 23rd and I plan on talking to my doc about then. It doesn't seem urgent enough to make an appointment any earlier...

EWW! There are boys here, remember?? Dana and Caresa, welcome to BandLand!! Caresa, I promise the CO2 pain will go away. I just can't promise when. Mine lasted about six weeks, but it did truly get better every day. It wasn't in my neck though, it felt like I had swallowed a brick. Sean's was in one shoulder. It's funny how differently it affects people. I need to go to the grocery store in the morning to weigh (I use the same scale all the time and yeah, it's in the grocery store behind our house). I weighed tonight and was at the same place I was Tuesday morning. The thing is, I always weigh about 3 to 5 lbs heavier late in the day, so I think I've lost at least a couple of lbs this week. <fingers crossed> I do need to follow Jo's example and get back into the gym. God knows we're paying for it every month...

Dana & Caresa, why haven't you guys posted yet?? Just kidding! Give us an update when you're able. We're all thinking about you...

For a pitcher you need to use the Splenda/Equal that measures the same as sugar and just use 75% Splenda to 25% Equal. For a glass, I start out with 3 packets of Splenda and 1 packet of Equal. If that's not enough I just increase them one at a time. Since I don't drink with meals anymore (banded in May) I don't ever order tea (or anything else for that matter) when we eat out, so I don't remember how many it normally takes. Of course it also depends on just how sweet you like it... :peep:

Funny, several years ago I quit putting sugar in my coffee and started using a combination of Splenda and Equal. Now I can't stand it any other way. So I started trying to use Splenda in my tea (I'm a born and bred Southerner so your restaurant's Sweetest probably wouldn't be sweet enough for me). Hated it. I couldn't stand any cold drink that didn't have sugar in it. So when I tried to cut the sugar out I tried the same trick I use in my coffee - I mixed the Splenda and Equal...it worked! I use a 3:1 ratio of Splenda to Equal. Occasionally I'll add one part Sweet 'N Low to the mix and that's even better. Give it a try and see if it works for you...

Caresa, If you normally take in a lot of carbs and your liquids are low-carb, you may be getting some "brain fog." That's happened to me when I low-carbed in the past. The good thing about that is that it will pass in a few days. If it's not that, it may just be the hunger. It does strange things to our brains, even when we don't realize it. Don't forget that we're all here for you! And if you just have to take someone's head off to vent the frustration, pop over to the Rants & Raves section and go off on whatever thread riles you up! Anything's fair game over there... :heh:

OMG! I'm begining to think Sean and I are bigger Lesbians than all of you! We camp, we watch football (ok, I don't watch a lot, but he's a sports freak), we listen to country music instead of show tunes and we have a pickup truck. Oh wait, we like boys. Edd, that bug has been going around up here too. Both my kids and one of my coworkers have had it. Thank goodness Sean and I have avoided it thus far... Stevee, your day is coming up fast! Not that I need to remind you, but keep us posted. Juli, I think I got the same handbook you did. I threw it away. Sean and I generally have more Lesbian friends than any other demographic. The exception is our Rainbow RV group - lots of great folks, both women and men.

Ok, I don't know what's up - I haven't been getting any e-mail notifications from the forum. I was starting to think no one was posting anymore, then I just got on here and checked (duh!). Not a lot going on around here. I went in for a fill last week. He put back 1.5 of the 2 cc I had had removed. I already called and scheduled another one for Monday because I just don't have great restriction. The good news is I thought I had gained 6 pounds after the unfill, but I weighed the other day and I actually stayed the same! Yay! So now after the fill I have scheduled for Monday I should start losing again. My husband, on the other hand, is now only 7 pounds from goal! He's lost 126 lbs since last August. A couple more months and I'll post before and after pics of both of us (I want to get closer to goal first). Hi Bill! :welcomeB: I'm with you on the label thing. That's one aspect of our community that has always seemed divisive to me. "I'm a twink and you're a bear and ne'er the two shall date!" It's the same way I feel about the whole "Gay men and Lesbians can't be friends" thing too. Umm, aside from the "wait X weeks before immersing in water" I would be scared to death of getting some sort of infection. You know there's a thousand kids (and probably just as many adults!) peeing in that water. EWWW!!
