  2. In the add by email option on the line where u can enter an email addy u can also just write a username. That is how it is on my iPhone app anyhow.
  3. Just bought two Goal dresses on sale at Target I believe I will fit by the end of the summer
  4. For sure follow what your doc and nutritionist tell you - just wanted to chime in that from mine (and from lots on this site) it seems you can eat pretty much anything from before banding... You just have to make smart choices about WHAT and HOW MUCH. Of course, this is all after the post-surgery diet concludes and you are back on real food.
  5. Great job! I am day 10 now and feeling similarly - and it is invigorating!
  6. Love it! Great work!
  7. I've noticed I can already climb stairs easier and get up off my low sofa without so much knee pain!
  8. Before I gained all this weight I was a 34DDD. Now i am a 42H. Would looooove to get back to a more manageable size (tho I'm with you in having had big boobs since I was young and I hope not to lose them entirely). My plan is get myself healthy, hopefully improve my fertility and be a healthy mom, and the once I'm past breast feeding - get a surgery for a nice perky set of Ds. We shall see what plays out...
  9. Same thing happened for me - and passed by day 5. I am on day 10 now and have been headache free for most of the past week. My personal hunch is that it is my body detoxing off so much refined junk (sugar, white flour). Hang in there - it will pass!
  10. Broke in yesterday at 299.8 - and today 298.8. Feels goooood to be on this side of 300 again. First time in over 18 months. ONEderland - see you in 12-24 months!!
  11. Just FYI that I spoke with my friend and we had a great convo. He was pretty surprised his boyfriend had brought it up, apologized, and will make sure he knows not to bring it up again unless i do first.
  12. I don't have much of a sweet tooth (I'm a salty crunchy girl) but FWIW I find that something sour and acidic helps me get rid of sweet cravings... Like sauerkraut or pickles or sucking a lemon wedge from my ice water.
  13. I agree - you look amazing - and if I was just looking at the pics I'd have thought it was even more. Congratulations - excellent work!
  14. Well you look great! Happy bandiversary - way to stick with it!
  15. thanks for all the replies - i really appreciate it. clearly the TELL NO ONE option isn't available to me at this point, but on the whole, i've gotten almost nothing but support from the people i've been candid with. my friend is actually coming to visit this weekend so i think that's also why it's been on my mind so much. i'm just going to tell him that i was a little taken aback to get the msg from his boyfriend that i did - and while i appreciate that it was positive and i know they both support me, it's really important to me that I can tell people how and when I want, and i'd appreciate their support in keeping this matter private. we'll see where the convo goes from there - but i think that will be enough to let him know i didn't love what happened, and can reinforce the main msg. it has been helpful seeing your replies to remind myself that 1) this will happen again, and 2) i'm pretty lucky that so far it's been positive and supportive. appreciate you all!
  16. just checked your gallery - love 'em! that phoenix is gorg!
  17. Hi all- The predictable has happened: someone I didn't tell knows my plans for the band. I got a Facebook msg from him wishing me luck for my surgery. He is my oldest friend's boyfriend. When I told my friend I asked him not to tell anyone. I'm not sure what to do. It has been a few days and I'm still bothered by it so I know I need to just talk to my friend about it. In the back of my head tho I wonder if I'm overreacting - possibly because this is the first time it's happened to me and I expect over time it is likely to happen more. Has anyone been in this situation? What did you do? Thanks! Aviva
  18. Good luck today - let us know how things are going. You are making such a brave choice!!
  19. Just weighed my 10lbs kettle ball at home and it clocked in at 9.8. So maybe home is accurate, surgeon's office is off/low and doc/nutri offices were anomalies. So long as all the numbers go down, right?
  20. Congrats all! Exciting to finally be approaching our surgery dates
