Dr and everyone is in a meeting till 1:30 so I left a voice message. Pain is just dull right now but all the girls know to call 911 and everyone now knows I have no slip under. Worst part is that I ripped my nylons while the pain was happening and did not change them so you see at my ankle a hole. Wow if it was not for my sense of humor keeping me afloat don't know what I would do.

Thank you ladies. The pain has subsided for the time being. I thought it might be a heart attack but since it hit on the right side I think I am ok. So far it has not traveled beyond to the left side it centered on the right side (front chest) and right now the most painful part is the port area, it did hurt more so when she stuck me this time maybe it was a nerve she hit but I was fine yesterday and when I woke up fine strange that it just came on like that. Here I was thinking my little boy was going to have to call 911 and they were going to see I did not have a slip on under my dress.

I have been wanting to try it since it came up on the board awhile ago but have not since we do not have a Sushi place in this town. One is opening in the near future so going to check it out. Suggestions for a first timer would be most welcomed:)

I need your help please. It's 7am here and to early to call the Dr. but do not want to go to the Emrg room. I got unfilled yesterday and had a migraine by the time I got off work. I went to bed early after taking a shower and when I would lay on my left side the pain on the right side of my temple would stop but if I layed on my right I could fill the throbbing (obviously not a migraine). Now I woke up fine no headache Thanks Be to God. But up only 45min and I got a pain in my right arm like someone punched me when I went to hold it a pain radiated through my right chest are from bra line above to the middle of my chest area. I thought I was going to pass out anyway I made it to work needless to say but has any one experinced any kind of pain after a complete unfill??? Going to call the Doc as soon as they get in..

Thank you Pat you should really check with the Doc. I was sleeping practically propped up in the bed being it was raised so much.. I struggled with the amount of fill because I thought I should have been filled past 2.00 by now but at 1.00 I had restriction then at 1.5 it was to much then we went down to .8 that was not enough so back up to 1.1. and that seemed fine but as of late to much so doc says maybe anything above .8 but below 1.1.. Maybe just a point down will help you.. Don't risk your band

Ok I am back and unfilled :cry Seems that with the this last episode of reflux coming up when I am sleeping it is a serious sign that something is just not right in my world. I had tested positive for H-pylori in March so was put on antibiotics and took them as told, come to find out that there is a 95% chance they are going to work and that 5% chance it will come back. Now I tested again today for it and if it comes back positive then they will double the medication. I am unfilled as when they were listening to my chest area you could just hear it gurlgling and I had not drank anything 4 hrs prior to the appt. I have to be on prevacid for 3 weeks and come Wed's morning if I still have reflux then I will be going in for the scope. Other than that and starving cause I have to be on liquids till tommorrow night then mushies everything is alright. I am happy to report that I am now 10 months out, well on the 16th anyway and am down 73.5 lbs from last July.. I cannot stress enough if you have relfux or any symptoms like I did get it checked ASAP. My symptoms were relflux at night not just spit up but mouth full coming out your nose refulx. burning in the throat area Tighter restriction - have not had a fill since Nov I will be able to get filled again in 2 weeks if everything calms itself down.

Retested again today 05-02-05. see new post.

I am so sorry to hear that they denied you a second time. I cannot believe they will not accept the information that you have on the docs. But then again since it's the insurance companies I do believe it..' Sorry Sorry

I did not have it that I remember now it could have been inserted while I was under and taken out the same way.

Ok I am at a loss for what is going on. (A little background) You all know that I had h-Pylori and have been off the medication now for a month. But seems that slowly over the past 2 weeks I feel more restriction have not had a fill since Nov. Usually at night I do not eat past 6pm but since Thursday I have been awaken with whatever is in my tummy gagging me. I have to go actually throw up now yesterday I stayed on liquids all day and even tried a natural herb for the tummy seems I felt ok during the day slept ok till this morning I no sooner sat up when I knew it was coming up. I have an appt This friday but do not want to suffer all week. What do you think??

Trooper seems you already know what you need to do from your first post. My husbands family comes from Mexico and they live the way you descibe, though we may have the thinking that when you reach a certain age or get married unless you are living with your inlaws to save money you do eventually fly the coop. Whatever you decide I wish you the best.

How are you doing today any better???

I have that Demon in the house and it's sitting in a Gallon Tub. I have stayed clear of it for the past week but there were days that is all I wanted for dinner instead of a Healthy meal but I seem to have it under control right now as long as I stay busy seems I do not think about it. Help me come summer when that is all you see when your out and about. Mumm Chili sounds good now since we still are getting snow and it's cold out:)

I take B-12 daily and it has helped me so far I started right b-4 I was banded and have stayed with it. I think everyone has a certain vitamin or supplement that works for them. I use the one that goes under the tongue.

Seems like every Dr has thier own set of post op rules to follow. What are you doing in the form of Protien and Water. I would start there. Make sure you are getting your water in and of course your protien. As for the head ache tylenal (liquid). Once you feed your tummy the protien then maybe you will be able to get some sleep.. I have an appt for a fill next Friday the 6th usually it is liquids the day before then clear liquids the day of and the following day is full liquids again, then a workup to tolerate foods again. I am so looking forward to it since I can now eat a little more than I am suppose too.

I am sorry to hear that you are in so much pain. I cannot remeber what I got after surgery but when I went home I used Tylenal since I have small kids did not walk to be knocked out.. Hopefull someone on the board can recommened something different. Have you insisted to talk to just the Doctors nurse or the Doc himself??
