A great big Thanks to God and all LBT that prayed for my Nephew. Results are in (negative) on everything. Doc thinks Rico just does not do well in the hosp with the smells and such.. He and my brother are doing fine
  2. I agree with Babs get more Protien in and what is your water intake looking like?? Hopefull once you get more into your body you will feel better.
  3. I cannot say that I have been to the point that I felt discouraged but I have had set backs since last Nov. My problems stemmed from over fill then to unfilled and it all boiled down to Sinus Infections causing havoc with my Stoma. I feel that my band is working for me I just need to keep working with it. Right now I am at .08 cc's and somedays it feels like it is not enough of a fill but then again I have days where it feels just right. For me it's all about listening to my band when I am eating. Hopefully there will be no other set backs or bumps in the road.

  7. I have been following the Story of Jessica O since last year and things have been getting pretty bad for her since her Surgery for RNY. I do not know her but I would just like to ask everyone to just say a Prayer. http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/profile.phtml?N=O1024075523
  8. Hi Sam, What kind of meat??? I cannot do KFC Chicken or Fried Chicken but I can do Chicken in soups, Salad or Baked. Could it be the way it is prepared???

First let me say that NO Dr. Should make anyone who comes to see them feel like an idiot. It should be your choice Broker do what is best for you and what makes you feel comfortable. I agree with Kathy change docs he is working for you!!! And Welcome to LBT continue to do your research so that you feel comfortable and have alot of info to back you up if you continue to see this doc. That way you can knock his socks off when he tries to persuade you to go the other route.
  12. Welcome Charlie, Enjoy the site it is very imformative and alot of great people:)
  13. Wow don't know what else. The Phenergren I had was a pill I thought maybe that is what you were taking. Second choice would still be to call and get something else. I am sure you have already tried the craker thing?? Other than that sorry no help here just see what the Assistant can tell you. Hope you get some relief. I have tried baby Percy and that has worked wonders for me on that end.
  14. I have heard of some medication that comes in Suppository form for vomiting. Call your doc and see if they can get you some.. Sorry your so sick:(
  15. I've heard that is itching is a sign of healing.. I had that around my insicions and it went away after a few days. How are you doing other than that??
  16. I drank Boost shakes in the begining and still do if I am out and about and do not have time for a meal.
  17. Call back and talk to the Office Manager no one answering the phone should talk to any client like she as done with you. Or better yet give me the phone number I will put her in her place.

  20. Wow - Never in my wildest dreams could I have walked that long, but I am pretty glad I did it. It was the Relay for life Cancer walk here in my hometown. I took 2 - 15 min breaks and wow when I was done it just blew me away that I could do it since b4 the surgery my knees were so bad I could only walk half a block and of couse be huffing and puffing from the Asthma attack I was bound to have. I carried my inhalers with me just in case but only had to use them once. I Thank My band for a whole new lease on life. Ladies and Men remember check those breast!!
  21. Keep your chin up break ups are hard. You have done the right thing for you and your boys. Having a man that is possesive is stifling and you are to young to settle. There are great men out there and now this gives you a time to breath and enjoy life with out have to explain your every move or be accused of cheating. Good luck it will get better with time.
  22. Great for you Chris that you found Peace of mind and your incisions are ok..
  23. Way to go Christina :)
  24. Hope you are feeling better. Do you know why was it the texture or the type of meat. Best to chalk it on the will make you PB list. I do that
