  1. Well I did a lot if bending over couple days ago and it's been hurting for a couple days so I'm hoping pulled muscle too. It's a sharp pain hits me hard if I'm lying down and go to sit up too quickly.
  2. I'm having the EXACT same problem. Heating pad seems to help. I'm thinking muscle but I'm going to ask doctor tomorrow. I hope we feel better soon.
  3. But everything goes down fine, nothing stuck, I'm just constantly sick feeling.
  4. I have some phenergan they sent home with me but its absolutely disgusting makes me vomit trying to get it down
  5. Ok I go back to work Monday and other than the nausea I feel ok to go back. I'm just worried about being sick all day.
  6. I will be two weeks post op tomorrow and I'm nauseated a lot. Everything has gone really well for me. Totally by the book with no real problems. I am just tired and nauseated constantly. It's especially worse while and after a protein drink. They told me to drink slowly so I've been taking over an hour to get in one protein drink. Even after just the first few sips I feel the need to vomit (I never do.). Then when I finish the drink I stay nauseated for 45 min to an hour. If I did the ounce every 15 min rule it would take me 3-4 hours to finish it. I can imagine trying to stomach it for 3-4 hours. Already I'm nauseated all through out the day. Anyone else feel like this? I hate to whine but I'm so tired of feeling sick.
  7. Ok four days later and still at 228.8. How can I be eating so little and not losing this soon out?
  8. I have dry mouth all the time. I drink plenty. It's worse at night.
  9. I was released from hospital on a Sunday and their pharmacy was closed. My first outing was from hospital to Kroger. I walked around grocery store while waiting for my meds.
  10. I will pray for you but you are absolutely right trust God for everything. I was scheduled to have surgery on 1/10 but got terribly ill with the flu and had to reschedule for 1/25. I was just telling my husband this afternoon about how thankful I am to God for switching up my plans. My pain has been rough and I don't think I would have been well enough for my son's birthday that passed in that time. So glad God intervenes in my life. I will pray for you. Sickness is no fun. God please let your will be done in my friend's life. Amen
  11. Thanks Teresa. I appreciate the support!!!
  12. Thanks Teresa. I really don't mean to be a spoiled brat. I just get negative easily lately. I'm going for a walk like you said. It's beautiful outside here. Thanks again.
  13. Already feeling discouraged. I started at 244. DOS (1/25/13) I was 237. After all weight gain from air and fluids I was 250 but I have been losing every day since. By my first 1 week post op I was 234 and yesterday I was 229. I was so excited to be in 220s. Getting in fluids and protein has been difficult. Yesterday was the first day I finally got in all my required fluids and protein. Today the scale still said 229. So basically if I get in everything I'm supposed to I don't lose. I don't think it's a stall seeing how I'm only a week and two days post op. Yesterday I also had some creamy soups so today I will ONLY do my required protein and fluids without any soup but that stinks. I've been moping around about it so hubby trying to give me pep talk about how my body is still trying to heal and I need to focus that and the weight will come off bla bla bla. I know he is right but I just want to lose weight so badly I mean that's why I had this major risky surgery to lose weight. Why is it surprising that I'm obsessed with it? Anyone else feel like me a week out?
  14. I'm a worry wort myself. About EVERYTHING!!! I read one time worry is like a rocking chair: it will give you something to do but get you nowhere. I try to remember that worrying about it won't change anything but it's hard for me. My husband says I spend too much of my life worry about things that never even come to pass.
  15. I don't know how to help but I will pray for you. I deal with anxiety and know how hard it makes things.
  16. When on liquid diet, does the 30 minute rule apply? I mean I just started creamy soups this week. I ate about an ounce of soup. Since it's liquid do I still have to wait 30 minutes to drink?
  17. No advice but praying for you.
  18. Do you have anywhere to swim? Swimming is good exercise and is easy on the knees.
  19. Honestly I do sip it takes me like 10 minutes to drink it and it's less than 30 ml. I think it just messes with me but right now I'm nauseous from my vitamins and they haven't been bothering me at all so I guess I'm just a weirdo. One day I'm crying hysterically but have no physical problems the next I seem fine emotionally but everything I take makes me feel ugh yucky....
  20. K thanks it's just a weird feeling and I didn't know.
  21. Seriously? No replies? Who do I ask if my RNY forum doesn't know? lol
