  1. Ok I don't like miracle whip or mayo lol
  2. I like tuna but hate mayo or must. Before surgery i would eat it plain but I'm afraid it would be too dry now. Any suggestions ?
  3. I am so sick of making myself get in protein shakes cottage cheese yogurt mashed potatoes and beans. What are some soft food ideas?
  4. I'm very proud for you. I agree we have to learn to live like normal healthy weight people. Everyone is different. I am like you. I don't want to live so strict that one day I totally blow and eat everything. So I will allow myself a treat now and then. If you're "treat" is something with less that 8g of sugar, you are most likely still making a better choice than before!!! Some people need to live by rules and NEVER indulge and that's ok. I respect their way of doing it as well. Every person is different and every doctor is different. I have learned not to be judgmental after spending so much time being judged for being fat. You are doing awesome!!! I hope to be as successful as you.
  5. I'm right there with you but I've been trying to force myself. No Protein can lead to hair loss tooth decay and muscle loss to the point you can barely stand. Protein is very important. I'm sure there are many more side effects but those were enough for me. I'm sick to death of those shakes but trying. I have found some Greek yogurt that has 13 grams of protein for 5 oz so I've been eating a lot of that. Good luck to both of you.
  6. I went in weighing 237 left the hospital at 250. In four days I was back to 237 and I've been losing ever since.
  7. That's really not bad. Thanks for the recipe.
  8. Congrats on the weight loss. I love your beautiful hair.
  9. I had my first Mirena for five years and my second I've had for three years now. I can't feel my strings, never have been able to. I do not want to get PG!!!!!!!
  10. I found a yogurt I love. It's yoplait Greek fat free. It has 13g of Protein, only 7g of sugar(my NUT said stay under14g sugar) It's really good and helps me get in my protein without so much of the yucky shakes and I can have it now while I'm still on soft mushies. I still have a ways to go but making progress a little at a time.
  11. Totally understand. I did the same thing. I made my husband try it too and he hasn't had any surgery and said that one was bad.
  12. OMG I had a whole string cheese!! So far so good. No pain and no nausea.
  13. Cool thanks. I will call now.
  14. I'm also much weaker than I used to be. I know it's due to lack of protein.
  15. I know I am so worried for my hair and teeth. Does that make me vain?
  16. Thanks for your help everyone. I am going to keep trying. I am currently getting 30-40 grams of protein a day which is so not enough but I'm gagging getting that in.
  17. I am a January person and I would love to chat with people going through this with me but I don't know what you are talking about.
  18. I really am trying here. I used to love milk even skim. Since surgery it just doesn't sit well. I know it sounds crazy but I get light headed and have stomach cramps. That's why I tried the clear isopure thinking it was a lactose thing but that makes me feel swimmy too. . Getting depressed here
  19. I bought some unflavored from gnc and tried it in pudding and some soup. Ugh....
  20. I'm drinking grape frost right now mixed with grape sugar free Hawaiian punch and I'm struggling getting it down but I know I have to.
