- Hi, my name is Quahog, and I'm addicted to ice cream....
Me toooo! Tomorrow is a new day, new start!- Need to get back on track!
I have lost 65 pounds since banded 12/21/13 (yay!).... But I've been off the wagon for about a month so of course no weight loss. I have 25 more to go and need a good kick in the pants. Part of my problem Is my band is tight and slider foods are easy but junk food of course and we went on vacation week before last. Excuses, excuses... Sounds like the old me. Plus I still need to add exercise... I'm getting saggy (at least my rear) and my hair is still falling out. Waaaa! Okay, time for the pity party to end and get back to basics!

did the pre-op or post op diet give you any bathroom problems?

- Before & Now Picture
I cut my face out, sorry you all! Banded 12/21/12 starting at 262 day of surgery. Weighed 199 today (5/17/13). Def in the green zone! Panty and bra, hopefully no worse than a pic in a bikini. :/ Pic is night before surgery and yesterday. Second thoughts on the pic. Figured out how to remove pic but not delete entire post. Sorry!- How did you determine your goal?
Current goal is BMI - about 27 - which would be a total loss of about 80 lbs or about 175 and still be overweight according to many standards.- Went for my fourth fill today!
Sounds like u are doing great and have a great perspective as well!- Cautiously optimistic
Hang in there!- Feeling bad
I wouldn't feel bad about it unless it was a plastic bowl!- cheated already!!! Help!!!
Lots of doctors don't even require a preop diet. Don't beat yourself up about, knuckle down and get back on track.- All hoops jumped!
I had my surgery in December. It took about a week for insurance approval.- All hoops jumped!
Hope you hear approval soon! Best wishes!- Losing too fast
From surgery date or preop diet? Weight loss is usually rapid the first month and then settles out. The initial loss is usually lots of water.- Banded yesterday!
Congratulations! Lots of walking for gas!- update
Terrific!- port infection/removal-healing time?
All wounds heal differently so it would be hard to put a time frame to it. Most important is to keep the open wound from infection and good nutrition so your body can heal. Best wishes.
