  2. I have been banded almost a full year I have fallen off my diet and have been thinking of doing this. I have attempted a few times but haven't made it happen yet. I do wander if it will have the same effect.

  5. Hi I was banded aug 29 2012 I had lost 90 lbs over the span of 9 months I felt awesome I went from a 5x in pants to a 26 and a 5x shirt to a 2x but sad to say I have gained 10 lbs in two months I am still doing all the things I'm suppose to be doing other then my biggest problem has came back with a vengeance I m addicted to candy i have tried to put myself back on a liquid diet to restart my system but it hasn't worked more then a day or two at a time. I have had many time in the last two months the thoughts of maybe I made a mistake choosing the lapband instead if the gastric bypass or I should just have it taken out. Then I remember what I felt like 80 lbs ago and how much sadder I was and it gives me the extra push to try and go one more day without the candy and doing what I'm suppose to do I don't always succeed but I will try again tomorrow you can do it I agree with the others get checked out by the dr and get a support group you can do it if you want to chat I'm here

  7. I started at 410 I lost 38 on my pre op diet I am currently stuck at 326 I can't figure out what I am doing wrong but my goal is 200 I'm 5ft 9 and anything under 200 will be a plus
  8. It happens... just start over the next day.
  9. I really like some baby foods I like the carrots , squash, prunes and well most if the fruits. I don't think I could manage to eat adult food in a blender I think that's kinda gross. My dr didn't recommend baby food he said it is for babies hence the name. I did some anyway

  11. Hi everyone I was banded aug 29 2012 I am down about 90 lbs. over all. I have recently stop eating correctly ( which is key to this) and have hit a Plato. I think some days are easier then others for sure. I think it's great that you guys have chosen to take control of your lives back from the fat. I am here if you want to chat or need help or anything. I have started reading all the post here and I think I will start walking again tomarrow. Monica
  12. Don't feel like your the only one.. I have lost almost 90 lbs since I started last July. I have stopped loosing weight and stopped eating correctly( been eating whatever I want. I am now stuck in my process and have recently decided that's enough and have started back with the program like from the beginning... We can do we just have to make the decision to do it.
  13. What made you want to do a sleeve? I have had my band almost a year in August and i would like a sleeve. So I am just curious.

  15. I drink at least two cups a day it doesn't bother my stomach and helps my headaches
  16. Yes I did.. I agree liquid in liquid out It balances out after a bit
  17. I read the burping indicates that you have eaten to fast and to big of bites and the burping is brought on by while chewing the larger bite it brings in more air to your system. I was burping really really bad was embarrassing especially in public but since I read this I eat off toddler silverware now and it is so much better and I attempt to count to 50 between bites Slows me way down
  18. I would say remember why you decided to get the band in the first place. When I was doing my pre op stuff one of the Dr.s told me to write a list of why I wanted it. Try working on a list and getting back to basic
  19. I had some roasted speggiti squash, a few slices of zucchini grilled, mashed cauliflower, 5 chicken wings.. I am not sure serving sizes yet but I feel like in my mind maybe I'm over eating. I eat about what I would serve a toddler overall..
  20. I will try eating at certain times and see if it is better.
