  1. Me toooo! Tomorrow is a new day, new start!
  2. I have lost 65 pounds since banded 12/21/13 (yay!).... But I've been off the wagon for about a month so of course no weight loss. I have 25 more to go and need a good kick in the pants. Part of my problem Is my band is tight and slider foods are easy but junk food of course and we went on vacation week before last. Excuses, excuses... Sounds like the old me. Plus I still need to add exercise... I'm getting saggy (at least my rear) and my hair is still falling out. Waaaa! Okay, time for the pity party to end and get back to basics!
  3. I cut my face out, sorry you all! Banded 12/21/12 starting at 262 day of surgery. Weighed 199 today (5/17/13). Def in the green zone! Panty and bra, hopefully no worse than a pic in a bikini. :/ Pic is night before surgery and yesterday. Second thoughts on the pic. Figured out how to remove pic but not delete entire post. Sorry!
  4. Current goal is BMI - about 27 - which would be a total loss of about 80 lbs or about 175 and still be overweight according to many standards.
  5. Sounds like u are doing great and have a great perspective as well!
  6. I wouldn't feel bad about it unless it was a plastic bowl!
  7. Lots of doctors don't even require a preop diet. Don't beat yourself up about, knuckle down and get back on track.
  8. I had my surgery in December. It took about a week for insurance approval.
  9. Hope you hear approval soon! Best wishes!
  10. From surgery date or preop diet? Weight loss is usually rapid the first month and then settles out. The initial loss is usually lots of water.
  11. Congratulations! Lots of walking for gas!
  12. All wounds heal differently so it would be hard to put a time frame to it. Most important is to keep the open wound from infection and good nutrition so your body can heal. Best wishes.
  13. Did you get an unfill after the last time? Maybe still too tight?
  14. Usually outpatient, depends on your surgeon and comorbidities though.
  15. No thinking, just doing!
  16. Images added to a gallery album owned by tarajill in Before and After Lap Band Photos

  17. Give it another week or so. Im 5 months out and find it most comfortable to sleep on my side opposite of the band.
  18. I'm in southern indiana. Feel free to message me.
  19. Me too. banded december 2012 and have been losing for the past month.
  20. It is called plication. Lots of people on this forum have had it. Try searching through threads by that term to learn more about others experiences with it. As far as the hernia and new surgeon - you need to tell him your concerns.
