I was banded this past Monday and the excruciating gas pains didn't start until Wednesday night/Thursday morning. By Thursday night all I could think of was what have I done?!?!?! I've had several laprascopic surgeries and this one by far was the most painful as far as the gas pains go. They have gotten better but still.... I'm having a very difficult time taking in a full deep breath. When I do, my diaphragm and left side will spasm. I am drinking tea, water and gatorade. I'm having regular bm's, so that's a plus. I'm also walking but there are times that I can barely stand up straight. I am very well aware of how this is going to improve every aspect of my life. I'm just ready for these dang gas pains to go away!
