  2. I finally looked in the mirror (clothed) and though 'not bad'. It's been a long time since I done that. I still have a long way to go and then I wi have the TT to contend with and save for but it should all be worth it!
  3. Hi Thank you for your time. I have requested a copy too julieandersonash@gmail.com. I saw this on google but l appreciate what you said about keeping track. Many many thanks Julie x
  4. Yes my parents were like that and I did the same with my two because if this! Wouldn't have thought anything of it before my LB but when I saw her eat twice what I had I just thought 'wow'. Lol x
  5. Tonight is NYE and my husband and I went for a meal. The table next to us was a mum dad and about a 4 yr old girl. She had a large plate (children's portion but still big) of nuggets and chips. There must have been at least 10 nuggets and a fair portion of chips. He had heartily eaten around half of each when I heard her mum say 'come on I want it finished or no pudding'. It's exactly the sort of thing I would have said to both of my children. It's only now I realise how we push them to eat far more than they actually need. Maybe parents need lessons on how much a child requires for nutrients!
  6. Yes. I've had it on and off for 2 days. Think it's my band saying 'whoa girl you've over indulged a bit'. Well that's what I'm presuming. Nasty pain that kicks you right back down to lap band earth!
  7. Sadly libraries near me are a thing if the past! But i got both books at a bargain price. Just need to get back on track after Xmas and try some out x
  8. Firstly Merry Xmas everyone. Ok I may be dumb but what is this 5 day pouch test exactly. Sounds like something good after holidays ? Xx

  11. They all sound good Chick peas sprayed with low fat spray and sprinkled with salt and placed in oven on a tray till crunchy become a tasty snack too. My kids ate then all and wouldn't eat regular chick peas!
  12. It's same on iPhone. Little drop down arrow - share - email xx
  13. Ok I'm on the 3lt of water a day hype and we'll see. Thanks guys. Easy to get despondent when you know your food intake had liked quartered!
  14. No I must say I didn't measure so will be doing that later its just you wanna see those scales go down. I try to drink about a litre of water a day. Somedays that is hard but I do try.

  16. Hi guys I was banded in September so now prettying all excersises is ok. I am however still nervous e about causing the band to slip or move. I have an an circle pro and wanted opinions on whether you think this would be fine and I'm just being over cautious or sell it lol. Thanks Julie x
  17. I have just been to the gym and whilst drying my hair after I was so shocked at my hair loss! I was banded In September and I know my protein was to low for a while but now I'm getting in between 60/80g a day. I don't fancy getting breakouts if that is a side effect if biotin but do you guys think this is due to the lack of protein a few weeks ago and it'll right itself now? Thankfully I had a lot of hair but can really feel how fine its getting :0(
  18. Add me if u like Mummajuju. I can't add people via my iphone x Julie-Ann x julieandersonash@gmail.com

  20. I was banded beginning if September and have lost 34lbs. Most if my loss was pre op and liquid stage since then been slow. So much conflicting advice re calorie intake and starvation mode etc so I am trying now 1000 calories a day and see how I go.
  21. And it wasn't aimed at anyone particular
  22. No wasn't you at all. I just think people don't realise how it comes across. I know emotion is hard to put in text but some people do sound quite curt. Knowing what journey we've all been on and the plateau's that we hit can put you in a really vulnerable place. We all need support and kind words from time to time. I still need to sort out these email notifications every time someone replies lol especially on threads like this one haha.
