Chris said "buy the bigger one that cost $20,000 more." I asked him where we'd live next month when we can't pay the mortgage. He actually suggested selling our home and buying a double-wide trailer. I suggested just living under a bridge. We could have bought 3 of my bikes for the price of his. But we're sharing. Mine is a 2001 Sportster 1200 Custom (trying to sound cool like I know what I'm talking about.) Our 2005 Dyna is like driving a Cadillac compared to my new go-cart. I hated the colors and almost didn't buy it. Orange is my least favorite, and I hate two-toned. But during my shopping, so many people were saying, "that's a bad ass bike." One of the employees tried to buy it, but they had a hold-tag on it for me. This bike never hit the floor, so we had to move 100 bikes in back just for me to look at it. But the more other people wanted it, the mor I wanted it! Here's the awesome part. Last night we left the dealer - my first "real big streets" ride on my first Harley. We were at a stop light and 2 guys pulled up next to us, and they cranked their necks to get past Chris, opened their windows, and said, "NICE BIKE" to me like Chris didn't exist. We chatted, and the guy loved it so much that he wants to paint his car orange. They were drooling (most likely over me, right? hahah.) And before I'd make a deal, I told them I wanted goodies. Extras. Give me free stuff or no deal. Well, the first guy quoted me wrong $1000.00 lower than he should have - the bike hadn't hit the floor yet so it took some digging to find pricing. There was this big, "uht oh" hubbub between supervisors and employees over who screwed up (I eavesdropped.) But I told them, "not my problem" and talked them down another $200, but only if I got goodies. But manager said they can't do it or they'll lose money since all the other bikes were $1000 more. So I started schmoozing my way around the store, working every guy I could. Finally, the finance manager snuck me a pen, a keychain, and a $25.00 gift certificate (shhh shh.) Snickering, I moved on and another guy gave me a Harley mug to hide. Then they were going to charge me over $60.00 to have 4 lights modified (Chris said grey lights instead of orange would be bad ass.) But I had to pay cash... but I called the salesman "Cupcake, and he snuck to the garaga and installed them himself, another hush hush. But there was one darling hottie that I couldn't crack. No goodies! So I finally got on the bike & started the engine, when he came outside with his hot little body, dreamy bedroom eyes and yummy smile and pulled this big Harley teddy bear from behind his back, complete with headband and leather vest. It pissed off the sales guy who ended up with only $28 commission due to their $1000 error, and it was one of their expensive bears. I jumped off my bike and kissed that young lil thang right on the cheek and made him blush. That made my day. So it's official - I'm a biker. I gotta give up medical care, food, cable TV, electricity and Water. Where can I get one of those washboards to beat my laundry on? But at least Chris and I can stop fighting now. That's why I bought it, to end the fighting. It's been so ugly. It's madness, I tell you... MADNESS! And the crazy thing is that I'm quite giddy and can't sleep cuz I wanna ride my bike. WAVING WHITE FLAG... I SURRENDER!
  2. Sorry for hijacking threads, but I need crisis intervention, fast. SOS. HELP. I've done something insane. Please go to my "Motorcycle Class" thread. Beca - 60 pounds? Do they know what's wrong? Hell, that's awesome, but I want you to eat soon. Sorry, my head is spinning so I can't focus on threads... Gotta go find my shrink's number.

Donali, you don't know what you're talking about. "A two-Harley family within 12 months?" I think not. Wrong. Do not pass go, do not collect. Honnnk. I don't think so..... Don't you HATE being wrong? More like "within 3 days" HOLY CRAP, WHAT HAVE I DONE????????????????????????/
  4. Fine, Penny, fair is fair. New GAME ON!
  5. Damn. I was up 3 pounds so this morning I walked three miles. Then my boss bought me another cake today and I just ate wads of frosting and eliminated this morning's walk. Why? I'm not obese, I'm just insane.
  6. Money, who has money? My credit cards are so out of hand that I'm thinking of suing the credit agencies for giving credit to a lunatic that can't afford the payments! Penni, let's make a deal. You erase all pictures from your camera that I hate, and I'll grant you the same courtesy. So no pictures of me peeing or shoving guacamole in my nose, okay?
  7. There's still plenty of time, Darcy. And the invitation is still open.
  8. Betty, I'm confused... I thought you were coming? Teresa, hi-five to you. You're just dropping weight like it's air. And Miss Darcy, I'll have the puter logged on all weekend. We'll all take turns posting to you!
  9. Ya know, I've seen other people post things five times, and I always wondered what the heck they're doing. Fickle band, fickle web site. I wonder why it posted five times?
  10. Penni, I did NOT post five times... how weird is that? Some freaky glitch, so I'll delete 4 of them. And I never got notification that you responded. Funky. And Penni, you can still kick my butt! I gained back 3 pounds, so I left my house when the stars were still out and kept walking and walking and walking... probably walked 1.5 hours this morning in FEAR OF YOU. Can't wait till this challenge is over! When's our official weigh in?
  11. Babs, I say bring them. Cocktail dresses usually run smaller, plus I'm tall. I don't have anything fancy like that. I could play dress up! There's always alterations, right?
  12. I'm going to the HEADCOUNT FOR VEGAS thread to talk about clothing exchange, etc. Check it out.
  13. TMI... TMI.... TMI.... (the "you know what part.")
  14. Penni, I always gain 7 pounds water weight right before my period, which will be next week. All you gotta do is lose 5 pounds of water weigh, and you've got my butt beat.
  15. I'm not sure if I'm crazy about him or because of him.
  16. Penni, stop trying to take credit for my brilliance and knowledge of Vioxx (haha, you must have gotten the same e-mail from WebMD.) I just forwarded the warning to my attorneys since we have a case with a woman that just went on Vioxx. Great, now she'll have a heart attack and we'll be liable for that, too, right?
  17. Then again, I always stunk at math, so my months apparently have 8 weeks in them. But losing consistently is still better in the long run. Plus you've already dumped a buttload of weight. Go pick up a 40 pound bag of dogfood and check out your sucess. It's madness, I tell ya!
  18. Sorry, still not buying labors-of-love as good deeds. If that's the case, I get points for feeding my dogs, buying lunch meat for the stinkin' old man, giving Kitty his pill, calling insurance rates for hubby, taking out the trash. Sorry, honnnnkkkkkk. Try again. I think losing 3 pounds in 8 weeks is great, considering it's most likely permanent weight loss. It seems the weekly weights fluctuate too much. If you keep losing 3 pounds a month, you'll be 36 foxier pounds lighter by next year, and 72 pounds SKINNY in 2 years. Patience, my dear. I think you're ahead of me in the loss game though. How many pounds down are you? Plus the next 24 hour liquid phase, and the fill that's going to kick in tomorrow and starve you till the 8th, which will be a pound a day? Darn, darn, darn!
  19. I just got this from WebMD: Vioxx Pulled Off Market The company that makes Vioxx pulled the popular anti-inflammatory drug from the market today after concerns it increases risk of stroke and heart attack. The move comes after a recent clinical trial linked the arthritis drug to these potentially fatal conditions. Get the full story
  20. Katie, I think we're married to the same man.
  21. Michelle sent me 3 boxes, and they were left on my front porch. If anybody wants me to sign for boxes being sent, I'll send you PM with my work address, since there's always someone at my office to sign. But everything has to be here before next Thursday, since I'm taking Friday and Monday off as vacation days to play with you little banded bandits!
  22. My girlfriend and I were laughing at that picture because it's distorted to make me look like I don't have a waist. It makes me look thinner than I am. I'm gonna have to remember that pose!
  23. I posted my address in hopes of getting my own personal stalker, but I want a cute one with a fat wallet! Is anyone else getting as excited as me?
  24. Zoe, you are absolutely right. Obese men get the same discrimination, I'm just sick of radio DJs constantly making fun of fat women, no matter what kinda music I switch to.
