One-on-one holiday exercise challenge, anyone?
That's too much work for me, but I'll exercise for the sake of the challenge since we all get to see Greg in a Speedo. That's how I interprested this thread. When will he be posting it? (Funny how quiet he got.)

I'm glad I told.
I snuck to Mexico alone. Only my husband knew. It took 6 months to tell people. Now I have the t-shirt, bumper sticker, flag, pins, (well, not really but I tell complete strangers now.)

Is this normal?
I have always said that I feel my restriction in my throat first. My food often gets stuck in my throat, even when I'm hungry. Sometimes it can be painful, so I wait it out. But I just had an Upper G.I., and the results were normal. Can anyone explain why we have the tightness in our throat? I imagine the band is so tight that air is trapped in our esophagus or something? Alexandra, you out there?

One-on-one holiday exercise challenge, anyone?
Boy, this thread/challenge got really complicated. Can someone summarize it?

Any One Up For an Exercise Challenge?
I got up and did a double walk this morning plus a little upper body then rode my motorcycle to work for an extra boost of adrenaline. And I'm great about drinking water during the day, but I don't drink any thing at night because I hate having to get up and pee! I don't think it matters whether we drink it during the day or night, does it? Lauri, try adding a few splashes of cranberry juice to your water. Makes it look pretty and gives it just a hint of flavor to make it go down easier.

One-on-one holiday exercise challenge, anyone?
I'm willing to pay $50.00 to see Greg in a Speedo. And I'm a self pay (aka credit card) of TWO surgeries and still need a third!

Serious Concern
Inflation. Thoughts are 2 cents now.

newly banded
Greg, too much information (hee hee, but I'm glad you shared.) Brilliant minds....

newly banded
Ryan, something's gotta be wrong with you because that sounded way too easy. Then again, maybe just traveling to a different country put more stress on me than needed. When I finally got home from crossing the border, airport security, flying, etc., all I wanted to do was lay around! Good for you. Lucky man, lucky wife.

One-on-one holiday exercise challenge, anyone?
Let's see how my disgusting wound looks on Monday. If I'm ready to join, I suggest we all send $50 bucks to a treasurer and do it for money, the Vegas way. Bring it on... joo wanna some-a dis?

Too late, it just split open as my Adkin's protein shake shot out my nose. Thanks for the visual, Greg.

One-on-one holiday exercise challenge, anyone?
Did she call ME old? Old is as old does. I'm the one that rode a quad topless through Mexico last week. Top that one! Or should I say, untop that one! I ain't old! (Notice how I'm avoiding the challenge?)

Any One Up For an Exercise Challenge?
Sorry, Lauri, but I figured I'd change the subject so noboby would notice I'm not exercising. I met my personal challenge of 3 times a week till now. I only did one day this week, but I'm giving up exercising for a week or two to see if I can get my wound to heal. I can't stand it any more, it's been leaking 6 months. Disgust and depression are setting in. It seems to dry up, but any physical activity opens it again. And getting it wet opens it. It's dry for the moment, so I'm not moving. I'm not bathing. I'm not even riding my motorcycle or wearing a bra or jeans - just baggy sweats and moo-moos for a week or two. I'll see you guys on this challenge thread in a couple weeks. I'm not even showering today. It's going to be a stinky week, but at least I have a bidette! Peee-Uuuuuuu!

Any One Up For an Exercise Challenge?
Maybe if you wear them riding a bike I won't feel so damn silly wearing them on my motorcycle. I said I "bought" them... I didn't say I'll wear them! I feel goofy!

Any One Up For an Exercise Challenge?
Laughlin has a big river run every year, and there's a gas station there that sells cheap leather. We passed thru on our way home from Mexico and I got chaps for $24.00. Very decent for the price. Okay, back to your regularly scheduled programming.

Whatever, Betty... you win.... bought me some chaps (cuz they were dirt cheap.) HI JACK HO!

One-on-one holiday exercise challenge, anyone?
Damn it. You know I can't turn down a challenge. But I just posted on the other thread that I'm suffering band-burn out. Let me sleep on it. I'm 42, 6 months banded, and have 90 pounds to lose. @#$%$@@%!$%^@@#%&**!!

Pics of me!!!
Zoe said it first! I can't even believe you got banded, you don't look big at all.

Any One Up For an Exercise Challenge?
I need a push. Or some motivation. I'm suffering band-burnout. If I don't tell you people, it might get worse. There, I said it.

Pics of me!!!
#3 looks sexy and mysterious to keep 'em guessing. Blossom, why has such a pretty thang like you been hiding out so long? Put up the avatar right now!

When did your fill kick in?
Does anyone around here still suffer from head-hunger? I go through phases where I eat past being full. I'm such a lucky girl to have restriction even though I don't have a port, but I still eat too much at times. It's a phase thing. The last couple nights have been bad. I wish I was as strong as Blue Eyes.

See you next week
Well, I almost got back on track last night. But I ate dinner even though I wasn't hungry, then ate a 2nd time. Not as bad as the previous night, so maybe today I'll get just a little better. Thanks for the compliments. And thank God for my band, because I finally have a nice picture of me and my handsome hubby.

Regarding Belighter.com
I've said it before and I'll say it again: What's more important, a couple happy people, or a whole bunch of unhappy ones?

Any One Up For an Exercise Challenge?
Normal to me is not having to think about what/when/how much we're gonna eat. Normal is my husband who stays slender and just eats when he want. Normal are my co-workers who just nibble at one cookie and feel satisfied. Normal is when you get full so you stop eating. Normal is as normal does. Normal is so damn simple.

Any One Up For an Exercise Challenge?
Is anyone else exhausted with this whole band/exercise thing? It's wearing me out. I want to go to lunch, I want to wear sandals, I want to be normal! (anyone old enough to remember that line?)
