  1. Probably the proudest moment was 700 women crying at my Great Gramma Linda's recognition. Look at the beautiful award (that's my 24 yr old Granny in the blue.) Linda was also given a poster size check for 9 grand in addition to customized Slumber Laptop, etc., etc. You can see the poster propped up next to her.
  2. Sorry I'm not responding, but I'm working fast as can be cuz I have tons of pics to add! Here's me dreaming of opening a door next year!
  3. There were 5 prize doors. I earned one key last year, but some women earned 20-30. One my Mom's keys was pulled out of the hopper, so she got to try a prize door. When that key opened her door opened, a parade of people in French costumes exploded out and presented her with a trip to Europe. UNBELIEVEABLE!
  4. Me with Slumber's owner, Kim Brecheen and our new 2005 Top Distributor, JEANIE JONES (I'm crying again, you gotta know these amazing ladies.)
  5. A PLUS SIZE GAL WON SLUMBER'S TOP DISTRIBUTOR NATIONWIDE!! DID YOU HEAR ME? A PLUS SIZE GAL TOOK THE TITLE FROM A SKINNY ONE AND WALKED AWAY WITH TONS OF PRIZES INCLUDING A 2 KARAT DIAMOND RING! A PLUS SIZE GAL!!! Holy Stars, people! I've never experience anything as amazing as Slumber Parties, and I'm bursting with gratitude over the opportunities that the Universe sent my way by teaching me how to earn money in a fun, fabulous way. Many people think what I do is inappropriate, and they are SO wrong! We empower, educate and entertain. Now that I've been to my first Convention, I am so proud and thrilled to share with women everywhere. Nearly 700 women (out of 8000 distributors nationwide) attended Convention, and I had the honor of sharing a table with my Slumber Mom, my Slumber Grandma, Slumber Great-Grandma, two of my Slumber daughters and several other Vegas girls. We laughed, cried and gave each other standing ovations as girls walked across stage to receive the most amazing prizes including laptops, cash, trips, a Waverunner, and SUV, and can you imagine the thrill of seeing a sexy red & white boat parked right in the banquet room? I was stunned when the owner called my name as the #2 Top New Distributor. I was escorted from my table buy a hot guy in a tux and walked across the stage, where the owner hugged me and presented me with a beautiful (I also earned a stunning topaz & diamond ring, etc.) My Slumber mom won a trip to Europe, my 25 yr old granny the Bahamas & engraved Tiffany jewelry, and my great granny a laptop, trips, awards and a check for nine grand! It was better than the Academy Awards or Oscar night. We were treated like royalty for our hard work and dedication. If any one of you gals is unhappy with life, I can change that. All I can say is WOW over and over again! Here are some pics:
  6. Celest, I hope you see this because I have to log off LBT immediately (dying ill, at work for only 1 day this week & leaving to New Orleans at 6 a.m. tomorrow.) So first, HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY! Second, I saw the heading about moving to Africa, and I'm enormously intrigued but don't have time to find the thread again (puter crashing, cases going to trial while on on vaca.) All I can say is that at the top of my LOTTD (list of things to do) is get my passport so I can invade your new African digs! SO MUCH LOVE & GOOD LUCK TO YOU! Do they ride Harleys there? XOXOXO

I can just feel the love from those pics. They're lucky boys, and you're a lucky mom!
  8. Uh... Slumber toys don't hurt! I wish I could capture the blnking lights but I don't know how to use my camera.
  9. Paula, I've been busy with Slumber & getting ready for Convention. This is the BEST thing I've ever done! How did you know about me & Jack? Nice cuts on my ankles, huh? I tried kicking off the shoe and cut myself, and as I tried recovering I cut the other foot. These shoes are leathal weapons.
  10. You guys thought I forgot about you. Sorry, no can do. We're off to Slumber's National Convention next week. The first night is the Diamond dinner party cruise for all the top sellers but I'm not a Diamond (phooey) so I can't go. But the 2nd night is the Mardi Gras Party, where 500 crazy women & spouses have to dress up in costumes, so my Slumber daughter made me buy these horrible cha-cha heels for the party that already caused 2 bleeding owies (there's a reason I wasn't named Grace.") The heels are filled with flashing colored lights when you walk. They're gonna kill me since I'll be over 6' tall, but Mardi Gras is a freak show so everyone wants me to wear them. The 3rd night is our formal where all the top producers are recognized and prizes galore are awarded. Thankfully I found conservative low-heel dressy shoes! We are all so excited - there's about 20 of us Vegas girls going, and over 500 of my US sisters staying at the same hotel! Chris is trying to pretend he's not excited about a week of hundreds of Slumber girls (one cutie sharing our room) but he's not hiding his excitement well! I'll post pics when I get back!
  11. I've been thinking LOTS about the bash! The date is August 26, which is the last Saturday in August. I chose that date because the pool starts to cool off in September, and the pool is way too much fun! Since everyone is requesting a Slumber Party, and since everyone will want time to play in Vegas, should we cancel the restaurant and instead do the Slumber Party at my house on Friday night? We can order pizza and keep food simple, since the following day is the Suarez at my place. This way anybody that doesn't want to attend the Slumber portion won't be affected during the Suarez, plus everyone will have Friday night to do the Vegas thang. How does this sound: Friday 7:00 p.m. Pajama Slumber Party my place Saturday Suarez Pool Party at my place Yes, pajamas will be mandatory Friday night. I'll accept sweats & fuzzy slippers, I s'poze. Celeste & JoLynn, we can move the trailer to the street to make room for your bikes, and yoons can fight over either the goat-smelling couch or the futon since you'll prolly be exhausted and Jenna already claimed the guest room. Or Chris will make me sleep on the couch and he'll share the bed with you ladies. He's really giving that way.
  12. My port incision never healed and was infected from right after surgery. They removed the port a month later, but the incision stayed open and infected for 8 months. Then I got a new port, which also became infected. After about 18 months I started feeling really strange and knew I was eroded. I was eventually given an endoscopy, which revealed erosion, so I had the band removed. I still feel like something's wrong with my belly.
  13. Is burnt toast a Southern thing? Paula, we're in the same boat. I cried to my doc last week so he made an appointment with for diet school (as if I don't know "what" I'm supposed to eat.) My friend bought positive affirmation tapes to listen to as she falls asleep. Instead of all the thoughts about how bad we ate, we replace those thoughts with how good we are. Cadydid told me this, and now my friend bought some tapes. Remember, no matter how bad you eat, you are a beautiful, LOVED, amazing woman at any weight.

Why not ask her what she already knows n' take it from there?
  15. My only advice is to name her DeLarla.
  16. I ended up buying 2 from David's Bridal. I fit snug in the 18, but will prolly wear the 20 since Convention is next week!
  17. One thing I know from personal experience is that kids have to be in immediate and critical danger for CPS to get involved. I had a 5 year old neighbor kid locked in her mom's car in 100 degree heat (she had the keys and refused to get out.) Mom was passed out cold, drug induced. The whole neighborhood was involved, and the cops finally showed up. I coaxed the little girl out of the car, but since she wasn't in physical harm, CPS refused to come. After that, things got worse. I did everything to get CPS to at least visit the home, but they said the cops have to show up and witness severe abuse or neglect. Sad but true (in Vegas, anyway.) As far as noisy neighbors, I haven't won that battle yet, and I'm a rattlesnake when provoked. The law protects them, not you. I've been through it a couple times (that's why I sold my old house.) Cops came 17 times in one year and never cited them. Cops don't want to get involved, all they do is quiet the noise. One cop told me HE even sold his house since the law protects the bad guys, and there was nothing he could do to quiet his noisy 3 a.m. biker neighbors. I got so sick of Tuesday 1 a.m. parties that my husband finally got me an airhorn. I'd wait till they finally went to bed at 3 a.m. Then about 4:30 a.m. (when they were all in deep REM sleep) I'd stand over the back wall and shoot that airhorn in their windows. Once we plugged the amp in and set it on the back wall while they were quiet and Chris played Ozzie Osbourne on the guitar (he can't play, and they were Mexican rock-haters.) For me, fighting fire with fire was the only way to shut them up.

The dentist is one doctor who has always been proud of me. I get lots of compliments on my gums, too. They gave me this dental tool a long time ago, and I fiddle with it to keep me from eating at night. It's got the official metal dentist handle, but the end is a pointy rubber thing (like a rubber chocolate chip.) I think it's for massaging gums, and it keeps them pink and healthy.
  19. I'm a little concerned. Where's my token girl? Angie hasn't posted since February 9. Does anyone have her number? Something isn't right, it's not like her.
  20. Actually, that burned. Good work, Kat. No more deleting.
  21. "Or I will NEVER post on another of your threads again" GULP. Rut-roh, what delete button?
  22. "The most impressive part to me was that the slime came out in a 9 inch diameter BUBBLE!" This was so funny that the same impressive bubble just came out of my nose, coffee flavored, thank you.
  23. It's an anti-anxiety medicine that will either calm you down or make you go sleepy for a nice long nap. I've been given either Ativan or Valium before some procedures to keep me from freaking out.
  24. Kathy, WHEN will you embrace the fact that I'm not normal? I'm having a bad day, I'm deleting things - any things. It's what crazy people do. We delete stuff and throw things away, then next week we wonder why we did that and miss our stuff. Gotta go throw away some dishes now.
  25. I was deleting all my old subscriptions & threads trying to get out of LBT, but this one is too sentimental. I don't miss my band, but I do wish there was an easier way.
