  10. Any former or current CPAP users here? I have pretty severe sleep apnea so I absolutely have to use it every night. I got a cute pink one but in all honesty, I'll be way happier to just throw the thing out! lol Also - any of you that have lost weight and noticed that your apnea went away or at least improved?
  11. Oh wow! I guess my last supper would have to be 2 or 3 cheeseburgers and a basket of fries. For dessert, a huge hot fudge sundae. I can honestly tear through all that food and still be hungry. I definitely won't miss that feeling!
  12. 5'7'' and 476 lbs. I'm a snug 32 and a comfortable 34 (much harder to find 34s though). I can't wait for the day that I can actually shop in a normal store and forget about Lane Bryant and Avenue! (Which, by the way, hardly ever have anything over a size 28. Bastards.)
  13. I actually really love dancing to hip hop - I did about 10 minutes today and I had to take a sit break. Baby steps!
  14. Is there a 300+ section? LOL I have 330 lbs or so to lose in order to get down to my ideal size. My name is Lizzy and I'm in Des Moines, IA. Holla!
  15. 32 years old here! I'm available to anyone that needs support. I'm pre-op.
  16. Well, I've had quite a few embarrassing moments. But one sticks out in particular in my memory. I went to a restaurant with my family (which is always stressful for me). The waitress approached the table and did a double-take when she saw me, which was pretty awful. After that, we went around the table and we all placed our orders. Later in the evening, I looked over to the server's station and saw our waitress whispering something to one of her co-workers and they both looked at me and burst into laughter. I could feel my face turn red. Uplifting story, right? lol

  18. Glad to hear it, Candace! Hope all goes well.
  19. You look great Julie! You were pretty before but now you're radiant! Very inspiring!
  20. I'm fat because I'm an addict. I realize now that I'm completely addicted to fast food and high fructose corn syrup. I can't go a day without it. Other than that, I hate to sweat. I'm a girly girl but I'm a total couch potato. If I don't have to get off my butt, I won't. Being almost 500 lbs is torture though. Make no mistake. Everything is hard at this size. The pointing and staring is humiliating enough. But anyway. There it is. :/
  21. Hi everyone! My name is Lizzy (or Elizabeth ) and I'm new here. I live in Des Moines, IA and I'm 32 years old. I'm considering lapband due to my extreme weight (I'm 476 lbs at 5'7'') and also my health problems (severe sleep apnea and starting to show symptoms of diabetes.) I actually auditioned for The Biggest Loser a few years ago but never got a call back. Probably for the best. I think Jillian would've made me cry pretty quickly. LOL So anyway... Nice to be here! I attached a photo of myself. I know I have my work cut out for me.
