  5. Welcome to our world! My dietitian set my protein goal at 95 g. On most days I hit that some days I go over. I always get my fluid intake and then some. I am a walker. I aim for 3 times a week. I just started with an exercise ball for my crunches. I have a bad back so no down in the floor exercises for me. I am 7 months out from surgery and still have a protein shake a day. I eat 3 meals and 3 snacks a day. I aim for 1000- 1200 calories a day. I stay away from rice, bread, and potatoes for the most part. Good luck and stick around. There is new things to learn every day!

  10. Plain Water, I used to love it. Now I have to flavor it. Love spicy now, not crazy hot, but medium is good. chocolate I used to LOVE, now it's just ok. One of my new finds that taste really good, grilled boneless skinless chicken thigh seasoned with sea salt and Black pepper. Love my sleeve and the control it has given me! 11. I take all my Vitamins, bariatric multi, 5000mcb of Biotin, super Omega, and i get all of my Protein in and at just over 2 months it started coming out. At 3 months by the hands full. I had really thick hair so maybe that's why it seemed so bad. I ended up cutting it in a pixie. I am now just over six months post op and it is still coming out just not as bad hopefully soon it will stop. But hey it is growing and already new hair coming in! So worth it! I would have shaved my head if that's what it took to drop 100+ lbs!!! Life goes on! GOD BLESS US ALL! And this is with it growing out some. lol Sent from my iPhone using VST

  15. I always start my day with a premier protein shake for breakfast. I eat protein every 2-3 hours. My protein goal that was set by my dietitian is 95 g and I hit it most days. I use MFP and track everything I eat. I weigh and measure everything I eat unless I am eating out, which is very limited. I don't use a gym, I walk and love it. I also get in my pool and goof around with my grandbabies when I can. I weigh every day, but Mondays are my official weigh in days. I do not eat pasta, rice, or white potatoes and pretty much no bread. I have just recently started adding in whole grains. I was given a book at my first surgeons appt. and was told to follow it that it would be my bible to eat by and that's what I am doing. I am not perfect I may take a bite here and there of something but I count it and go on...Hope that helps. I eat between 1000 and 1200 calories a day. I don't drink any kind of soda, I don't use a straw, I just started having half decaf coffee when I work nights. Every thing else is sugar free/ caffeine free.
  16. I am 6 months post op and down 100 lbs, 66 lbs since surgery and only 28 lbs from my goal!!!! I am loving my WLS journey!
