    Was THAT dumping? (Wine related)

i have had the same experience on 2 different occassions. Both times were later... called "late" dumping. Your sugar most likely spiked after the wine... then dropped really really low because your body produced too much insulin to bring it down. That is how it was explained to me. I started sweating and feeling AWFUL and ended up on the toilet for a while. Not a fun thing. I actually checked my sugar (i have a machine from my last pregnancy) and it was 43 so I drank juice to bring it back up and that helped the second time and it did not last as long. For me... it was after eating a some marshmallows with my little girl. And another time from eating ice cream. :/

    Crying

Emotional mess here too... I want to be alone and no one bother me... If I could just sleep through every day and be awake at.night when the rest of the world is sleeping I would be fine!!!! I really have no tolerance for people in general... Get mad over everything, have zero patience and am as grumpy as it gets. I'm 5 1/2 weeks out... I hope it goes away soon. I'm miserable

    spitting stitches

Sorry... It has surfaced to the skin at one of my incision sites. I'm 5 weeks out. Anyone else had this??? I remember having his after my tummy tuck years ago but they were clear... And I could gently pull them out. This one is purple and is stuck and wont come out. Any advice????
  6. I have an internal stitch that has surfac
  7. I had a soft poached egg this morning with a slice of American cheese melted on top. Went very well and was soooooo satisfying.
  8. And... How much restriction? I'm a little concerned that either I have no restriction or I'm just not feeling when I'm done. I'm on full liquids but am doing some purred. I.e. I mixed some refried beans with sour cream and taco sauce and was able to eat 1/2 cup. This morning I was also able to do 1/2 cup cottage cheese. I went relatively slow but not much different than I ate before. I really had no problems at all eating it. I feel "full" but no discomfort. No issues at all getting liquids down. I just seem to be able to get anything I have tried in. No reflux, no pain, no indigestion, no burping, or anything like others have described. Seems so much easier than the lapband... I could barely get anything down with that dreaded thing.

    So Frustrated With Myself

Hi honey! START OVER! Do a week of liquids and a week of mushies to reset yourself. Measure your portions and fix your meals on a small plate. Try to watch your sugar/carb intake. Healthy protein first. Eat small meals every 2 hours. Lots of protein, lowfat foods, and veggies. Cut out any sugary drinks... drink water with crystal light. Throw in a little exercise. Do not eat after 6 pm. Use your TOOL!!! You can do it girl! YOU CAN DEFINITELY DO IT!!!!! We are all here to support you! I have been there... I had a failed lapband and gained weight back that I had lost. But you can turn this around and keep losing and you will be so happy! KEEP YOUR FAITH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Stage 2 Food And 11 Days Post-Op

I take the capsule version of the omeprazole too... twice a day according to my dr. Also I take this gel stuff called ripoan that is a sort of antacid to coat the tummy twice a day for 28 days. It isnt very pleasant but not as bad as liquid meds. Bless your heart... glad you got the pill form!!! Keep up the great work... you will be changing sizes in no time! IT WILL BE VERY EXCITING!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. I am on full liquids, which for me includes yogurt. So tonight to satisfy a sort of craving, I took a few teaspoons of plain Fage greek yogurt and mixed it with some taco sauce and taco seasoning. It was really good. I was just wondering if anyone else does that and if anyone thinks the sauce or seasoning would be a problem. I had no problems getting it down and felt satisfied. If any of you like that kinda stuff... it was REALLY yummy!
  15. Good luck! I am 7 days out today! As soon as you can GET UP AND WALK... ALOT! And take deep breaths often. quicker recovery with less pain! Cant wait to hear how it all goes!
