  1. I focus more on Protein and I usually fall between 600-900 without trying.
  2. If you're slow, so am I! I'm almost 8 weeks and down 33.5 lbs - but in reality there's no way I could be averaging a loss around 4 lbs a week without this surgery. I'm down almost two clothes sizes, sleeping thru the night without my cpap, I can breathe and tie my shoes at the same time. I'd have never achieved these things so quickly without my surgery.
  3. I didn't have a preop diet. Just wasn't allowed to gain weight. And had to do just clear liquids the day before.
  4. How far out til I can eat a protein bar with nuts or granola?
  5. Perfumey smells made me ill for the first couple weeks. It was awful! Nothing tasted good either. By about 6 weeks things started getting more normal.
  6. Oh I had huge problems with pills in the beginning! Still occasionally get one lodged but if I relax and drink something it passes after a while.
  7. Thank you all! And way to go on all your hard work and successes too!!!
  8. Thursday will be 8 weeks post op. I'm down 33.5 lbs and 4.5 BMI points and something like 4 inches off my waist and 4.2 off my hips!
  9. I always keep vanilla on standby because I can make it whatever I want. Usually blend it with a combo of plain Greek yogurt, skim milk and frozen fruit. Ends up like a milkshake consistency. And like 30g protein!
  10. I do the same with the Click. It's like a mocha frappe every day!!!! I'll have to try the Chike. Didn't realize it had more protein.
  11. I have a Click protein drink every morning. Made with real coffee. And 15g protein.
  12. I've been totally regular since I've reintroduced it as well.
  13. Caffeine is actually dehydrating and can be hard on the stomach.
  14. I tried it and found the same. Blech!!!
  15. My scale did the same thing but my dad who only sees me once a week said I look thinner than a week ago. The scale doesn't know the difference between if I ate too much or need to poop or whatever haha. I started taking measurements of my waist, hips, neck. Going to watch and see how they change. I know I've been way more active and possibly picked up muscle. Maybe the same is true for you?
  16. I use all the brands too. Liquid ones and powders. As long as there's no sugar my NUT said to for it.
  17. I had spasms in the beginning whenever I drank something cold. Very possible.
