  1. Ordering Chinese at work. Getting steamed chicken in garlic sauce. No rice.
  2. One of my coworkers said I needed smaller pants because I was swimming in mine.
  3. I'm wearing pants that haven't fit me since sometime in 2009-2010.
  4. I work 3-11 as a 911 dispatcher. We can be mandated to stay an extra 4 or 8 hours if people call off and there are open shifts. My schedule is completely unpredictable. I always take an extra snack in case I get stuck. I haven't been cooking because its just me and I eat so little - I've been buying things that hardly need prepared so I can throw some in a container in my lunch box and go. I like walking on my lunch break but the heat index has been about 100 so that's been a no go. I can make it to the gym days I only work 8 hours. Thankfully my gym is also open 24 hours.
  5. 45 minutes-approximately 2.5 miles on the treadmill
  6. I remember nothing between being wheeled into the OR and waking up in recovery. They gave me Ativan or something before they wheeled me in and I felt drunk.
  7. LMAO! You'll get there I promise!!!
  8. I can squeeze into an 18 - started as a 22/24. I'm fitting in pants that haven't fit in 2-3 years.
  9. So tomorrow is 6 weeks. I'm down 29.8 lbs and almost two pants sizes. I lost my back roll and my double chin. I've gained a jaw line and being able to breathe and tie my shoes at the same time.
  10. I must be lucky. 6 weeks and chicken has been no problem.
  11. I miss chugging water more than anything. Who knew. It was so much easier to drink enough when I could gulp down half a bottle.
  12. My back fat is gone! No weird fat roll being squished by my bra! And my double chin is gone.
  13. OMG. So glad I took the suggestions and ordered the Click protein. It's like having a mocha frappe with 15g protein!!!
  14. I have BCBS and only lost two pounds the whole six months and still was a first letter approval.
  15. I thought about it for probably 5 years. I'm 29 years old and Thursday I'll be 6 weeks post op. I went in thinking I wanted a band until the surgeon showed me the difference in numbers as far as success rates. My recovery was a nightmare because I had a complication that my doctor said he sees once a year. Now that everything is fixed, I have no regrets so far...except that I didn't do it sooner.
  16. Had a slider sized burger with cheese, ketchup and some pickle chips. And no, I couldn't finish it. lol
  17. For three days I have felt so gassy and nauseated. I've had to force myself to eat and drink. I don't know if its the heat or if I'm at that 5-6 week roadblock some people have that nothing tastes good.
  18. I haven't been sleeping well either.
