  1. My skin has been a wreck since my surgery too! I also never had an acne problem as a teenager so this is really frustrating. I've been using Neutrogena Naturals Acne Cleanser and an oil free moisturizer only as needed.
  2. I'll agree. About 6 weeks for me. But my journey wasn't normal. I had to have a second surgery at 3.5 weeks.
  3. Try going to ilostwhat.com - really neat site. Put in how much you lost and it spits out something like this.
  4. I've been buying the Healthy Choice frozen Greek yogurt. It's in single serve bowls, 3/package. I like the portion control. I can't sit and eat a pint like I've been known to do pre op.
  5. Had dinner courtesy of my best girlfriend. Shrimp and avocado salad. Was delish! She also put grape tomatoes, garlic, and artichokes in it.
  6. A large tshirt and size 18 jeans - neither has fit in about four years! From an XXL and 22/24 in 10 weeks!
  7. Kind of what I figured. I didn't like that at all!!!
  8. Had a tiny piece of a pastry at work (because it was Starbucks and I can't say no). Gave me kind of a sugar high and sat funny in the pouch. Didn't feel right at all. Five hours later I was on the toilet. Don't know if its a coincidence or a punishment.
  9. I'm hoping since I was only a 38C to begin with they won't end up too bad. I'm another one who was pushing 280 but had itty titties!!! lol
  10. Can I get the list too? kristlynngirl@gmail.com
  11. I work with several failed RNY patients. None of them ever followed the diet. They still ate whatever they wanted. Really thought it was a magic bullet and they wouldn't have to put in any work. Blows my mind. I've worked for every pound...but it's worth it.
  12. I get most from food. I occasionally have a shake made with instant coffee or with frozen fruit/yogurt. My NUT said to not have more than 45g carbs a day.
  13. I'm almost 10 weeks and my NUT said 600-800 but to focus more on protein 60+ and carbs less than 45.
  14. Had about 1/2 cup of salad (complete with grape tomatoes, seedless cucumber, red onion) topped with some shredded cheddar, 3 oz grilled chicken and a little shredded cheddar cheese - oh and light balsamic dressing!
  15. Either Get To Goal or Get 2 Goal. I found it by searching gastric bypass.
  16. About 2 oz turkey kielbasa and a mini Babybel.
  17. There's water aerobics in My Fitness Pal under cardiovascular.
  18. Find the post I made earlier today after talking to my NUT. My convo with her made me feel much better.
  19. I use My Fitness Pal too if anyone else wants another buddy - kristlynngirl
  20. Zumba for Wii. 300 calories in 20 minutes. Can't beat it!
  21. Well, my NUT says I have probably just hit my first stall and have been doing everything right. Said to keep doing what I'm doing. Said to keep getting 65g protein a day, keep the carbs under 45g (avoid the refined stuff and get carbs from fruit and whole grains) and aim for 600-800 calories a day. Also said to get at least a cumulative 30 mins of activity in a day, does not matter if its all at once or walking 10 minutes on each break at work. Said to quit comparing my loss to the loss of others because everyone is different. Said especially if someone weighed more than me on surgery day, they will lose quicker. Also said men lose quicker. Said I am actually ahead of the curve being down 32% of my excess weight at 9.5 weeks - said that's what they shoot for at 3 months out. So I guess all my freaking out has been for nothing.
  22. Have a call in to my NUT finally to see why I've been losing and gaining the same 3-4 lbs for weeks. And how much I really should be eating.
