  1. My doc required 2 but I stayed 3 because I was vomiting.
  2. I'm from Pittsburgh. Had my surgery at West Penn but I hear that's a great program too!
  3. Got myself a tattoo to symbolize my journey this far. Have another one planned as well. I'm also going to probably be in onederland by Halloween!...and have no pants that fit, everything is too big!
  4. I was going thru old stuff at my mom's looking for a coat to wear this winter since everything I have is too big. I found my American Eagle peacoat from high school. Had a patch in the pocket from an ice hockey tournament in 2002 in the pocket, so I guess that's the last place I wore it. Not only did it fit, it even buttoned!
  5. I guess I just thought the pounds would keep just falling off. I'm trying to eat more and drink more Water. I know my crazy work schedule doesn't help. It's so hard to know you're doing everything right and see the scale sitting still.
  6. I pretty much stalled the whole month of September and I'm super frustrated. My clothes got looser but my scale won't move.
  7. Everyone at work keeps calling me Skinny Minnie. I can't wrap my head around it. They're all asking how much skinnier I'm trying to get! My 18s are too big and just less than four months ago I was pushing a 24!
  8. It's tough but almost fun since it's kind of dancing.
  9. Wow! What a difference a year makes! Last September til now!
  10. I used a Mission Carb Balance tortilla. Put it in the oven at 425 on a baking sheet with a little olive oil until it got crispy. Topped it with Mexican blend cheese and some pre cooked grilled chicken cut up into bit sized pieces. Back in the oven until the cheese melted. Drizzle with taco sauce and serve with light sour cream for dipping.
  11. Made a low carb bariatric friendly chicken quesadilla pizza. And it was delicious.
  12. Day one of Hip Hop Abs. Day two is gonna suck. I used muscles I didn't remember I had. Hope I can crawl out of bed in the morning.
  13. Dinner was some chicken breast, part of a sweet potato, and some salad.
  14. I've gone out on three dates this month with three different men. And all have told me I'm beautiful. I've never dated around in my life. I feel like I'm holding tryouts, lol.
  15. HW 277 SW 270 Last week, 222.0 This week, 214.1 Surgery 6/6
  16. I won't have my labs done until 6 months either. Per my surgeon.
  17. Just so weird I can eat raw lettuce and peppers and tomatoes and cucumbers but soft steamed broccoli was a problem!
  18. Finally had food come back up on me for the first time since they fixed my cicatrix and stricture in July. Ugh. Had chicken and cooked broccoli. Must have been the broccoli because I've been eating chicken without problems.
  19. Made a pizza on a Mission Carb Balance tortilla.
  20. I make chicken in mine all the time. Buffalo chicken dip too which is a good high protein snack with whole grain tortilla chips or crackers. I do boneless pork ribs in it too.
  21. HW 277 SW 270 Last week 223.8 This week 222.0 It's slowing down. Sad panda.
  22. Had my three month post op appointment today and my surgeon is very pleased - huge weight off my shoulders! Said I have lost almost 45% of my excess weight which is where most patients are at four to five months out! I was concerned because I was only down 55ish pounds - but be said they look at percentage not total pounds - and reminded me to quit comparing myself to others.
