I'm from Pittsburgh. Had my surgery at West Penn but I hear that's a great program too!

Did you have the ivc filter if so what was your experience with it.

I did not. However I had to be on Lovenox shots for a month after surgery. I have a blood clotting disorder called Factor V.

I'm sorry to hear about the clotting disorder. I would much rather get shots everyday than have the filter put in. I have heard nothing but unhappy stories about.
