  3. What does the exercise evaluation need to say?
  4. I'm from Petersburg PA. So far I've lost 23 pounds. I'm really looking forward to the eating restriction that surgery will provide. I eat relatively healthy anyway but now instead of grab and go snacks that are not healthy, I choose healthier ones like carrots. I love carrots.
  5. Hi I was just wondering if there was any April surgeries.
  6. Hi I'm from PA. I'm getting my surgery through Hershey Surgical Weight Loss. My surgery is in April. I had to do 6 months with my family doctor before starting the 6 month weight loss program. I was told that I had to lose 15% of my starting weight in the program. You won't be put on a diet per say but they expect you to eat healthy and make better choices in what goes into your mouth. Also they don't want you go go over your starting weight. The "diet" is to show them you are able to consistently make wiser food and drink choices. The weight loss surgery is a bonus too to lose weight you have to put in the work and effort or getting the surgery will not help you lose weight and keep it off in the long run.
  7. Hi everyone. I so far am still in the process of my journey to begin. I have completed 6 months of doctor visits and now just started my six months in the program. I just had my Phyc eval and am getting ready to start the nutritional classes. I figured if everything goes right I'll get the RNY in March or April. I know it's kinda far out there but is there anyone out there in the same boat as me. It would be nice to have someone to talk to that's in the same place as me. I guess I kinda wanna a RNY buddy.
  8. I'm sorry to hear about the clotting disorder. I would much rather get shots everyday than have the filter put in. I have heard nothing but unhappy stories about.
  9. Hi. I got to chose who and where I'm getting mine done. I have about 6 months. I'm figuring march or April 2014. I can't wait. I'm already prepared. I wish time would move faster.
  10. Did you have the ivc filter if so what was your experience with it.
