Referral from PCP

I went to my PCP today and she was wonderful! She submitted the referral to the surgeon so I can start the process with the surgeons office. I am so excited. The ball has finally started rolling!!

I got my referral from Tricare, but it had another surgeon's office listed than what I asked for so I have to go to another seminar. I'm not sure why Tricare changed who I requested, but it's all good because I researched the surgeon and he is one of the best in the country. I go to the seminar tomorrow with my hubby and hopefully I will be able to get the appointment with the doctor soon afterward.

Has anyone else experienced their insurance company changing who they requested? Just curious.

Hi. I got to chose who and where I'm getting mine done. I have about 6 months. I'm figuring march or April 2014. I can't wait. I'm already prepared. I wish time would move faster.

I got my referral today, I am hoping because I am having issues with my glucose levels and am gaining weight due to the increased insulin needs that my insurance will allow for a shorter time frame. I am so sick and tired of being sick and tired I can't stand it.
