crying......im so worried about being aprooved.....

Tomorrow I go into my last apt with my Surgeon to pick a date for surgery before she asks for approval from my insurance company... I have BCBS and have been on their "turning point" program for 6 months and have completed all the requirement's and my surgeon's as well... The only thing I was unsuccessful at was losing 5% of my starting weight. Do you think my insurance will use this as a reason for DENIAL ?? Im so worried, I have done everything else besides that one part, I want this so bad and want to be approved, Im really worried, crying and getting depressed over this....has anyone else been in this situation and if so what was the outcome ??

I'm sure it depends on your insurance. I know with kaiser they won't move ahead until the weight is lost. But I've read about others where it's not as important. I'm afraid you'll just have to wait and see.

I have BCBS and only lost two pounds the whole six months and still was a first letter approval.
