  5. Don't freak out. From what my surgeon told me, most insurance companies don't cover it. You don't have to have it done to be successful with the lap band...it is just another tool that aids you.

  9. Who knows with insurance companies. Got my finger and toes crossed for ya!
  10. There is no way she gained her weight back just by drinking lattes? How many was she drinking a day? Maybe donuts washed down with the lattes?
  11. I haven't been banded yet, but I've read on this forum that many doctors do give fills on surgery day.
  12. Don't know if you'll gain weight, but ALL alcohol turns into carbs...alcohol is transformed into sugar in our bodies.
  13. I think it's pretty normal to be swollen, you just had major surgery. Put on some jammies :-)

  17. My doctor said at least a week, but he would give me up to 6 weeks if I want it. Thinking I'll go for the 6 weeks! LOL
