  1. Didn't she ask " how bad can it be" and " should I worry"? I know that you would feel horrible is her " surface scratch" turned out to be so much worse. Each person on here that asks a question is likely to read through the various replies and decide for themselves what rings true to them. No one on here is a victim and no one needs to be defended. Keep being supportive in your way. It's what you do best. Let others be supportive however they want to be. I'm sure our dear bleeding friend wasn't as offended as you were. Best wishes to you!
  2. And MFP has a recipe builder...online though!
  3. I'm not sure, I get mine at Safeway. You can also drink poweraid zero.
  4. If someone comments on your post you have to scroll through all the news feed and try to find where it was posted to on MFP. There is also no way to just look through your feeds unless you scroll down through the news and find one of yours and then click on your name on MFP. I use the iPad and iPhone app. Rarely online. Not sure if its different online but this is what I don't like with the apps.
  5. I'm familiar with the area since I'm from Stockton. How about dr Woodbury in Santa Rosa or docs in Chico? The hospital isn't who give you fills. Why are you not making appt with the drs office directly? I'm confused too because ucdavis is the best around. I have a friend who works there in that department I think. She's like a big shot. If you pm me the docs info I could find out more for you.
  6. I went to fleet feet to get sized for bra and compression wear. Try a local fitness store. My bra makes me look nothing like a Nike ad but it works great!
  7. Wicking is the action of moving the moisture away from your skin so you stay dry when you sweat. Spanx aren't good for that when exercising!
  8. Some sf Gatorade may help with salt cravings! Your electrolytes my be low. So when you get dehydrated its like when you have a houseplant that is really dy. if you pour Water on it the water just goes through it. You have to sit the plant in a sink of water for a few hours and wait for the soil to absorb the water. It's the same when we are dehydrated, even if we do not know we are dehydrated we do not have the proper levels of electrolytes to keep us going. I ended up in the hospital from severe dehydration once that led to kidney failure. It was terrible! I was drinking plenty of water but I drank it too late. My body needed something else and I was clueless. I may be WAY OFF BASE but I wanted to share my experience with you anyway!
  9. You wont have to ask if it happens to you, you'll now! It feels like you swallowed a big lit fire cracker/ flare and it burns all the way down but then gets stuck! All self inflicted as you have ascertained! If it does happen walk around doing the funky chicken and resist the temptation to drink.
  10. Non-eventful! Don't sweat it!
  11. unjury is actually really good. I also found About Time online which has 24g and a little less expensive. I love the chocolate mint flavor. I'd also get samples to see because if you don't like it well, there it will sit!
  12. My understanding with bread is that is has moisture in it so when you eat it it becomes a ball of glue. That is why we'll toasted bread works because the moisture has been removed. SOOOOO, stuffing shouldn't be a problem right? I did a test run of TG by making my turkey dinner last Sunday. Had only about 2 tbs of stuffing but did not have a problem. Then again, like you, I am new to my journey and don't have a lot of restriction yet!
  13. Use more than one scoop!
  14. Can she not liquefy things like mashed potatoes or sweet potatoes? Or pie? None of us are experts even the ones who been here for a while so I would say call your team in the morning. they'll be able to give you the best advise!
  15. I eat grilled fish and veggies mostly. Processed foods with sodium have never worked we'll for me. I also make the quiche with egg and spinach in muffin tins as a go to. I freeze them in advance and pull them out when I am not prepared for mealtime or too tired to cook!
  16. Awe! I know it's hard. Hang in there though k?
  17. Bow-cheekie-bow-mowww! That's what I'm talking about!
  18. Good advise msbritt! Can you imagine the call to the oncall dr...um yes, um, I got up to go potty and my bandaid fell off. Just teasing! Anyway, after you've had a nice sleep call your dr. especially since they will be closed Thursday. Better safe than sorry, and it ill put your mind at ease!
  19. Since you said your Italian, guappo is not bad it's like saying, this dude! I lived in Italy for 13 years. Don't get too upset on here, I know it's in your blood but its all in good spirit!
