Happy Birthday Janet! I baked you a cupcake in FB. It also failed to notify me of your b-day so I only noted it through someone else's post. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Why do women have anal sex?
I've heard that sexual arousal and the culminating orgasm is very closely tied to the emotional and intellectual response we feel towards the other partner and that this is espcially true for women. I can see how someone can be turned on enough without ANY physical stimulation to ograsm. I've come pretty damn close myself.

Keep using big words like that and you may just bedazzle the ladies into submission. Yeah, what's up with that? In Houston it rains quite often so you'd expect people to know how to drive, but let a drop of rain fall and the drivers just go to pieces. She's very active on FB. I guess she's ditching LBT for a cuter forum. Congrats and yeah, quit yer whinin'!

Yeah, what she said! My blood pressure is rising and I'm getting a headache from grinding my teeth. I seriously think I would have killed him. Hey, is that some sort of veiled contempt of women leaking through?

WHy didn't anyone tell me....????
I was banded in July '08 and have pb'd only once and that was because I ate a big piece of lettuce without chewing it carefully. I only get the stuck feeling when I don't chew my food well or if I "gulp" liquid. I have 5 ccs in an 8 cc band. Everyone's journey is a bit different and results vary. I think the key for me has been to be very conserative with the fills (1st fill = 3 ccs, 2nd fill = .5 cc, 3rd fill = .5 cc, 4th fill = .5 cc and 5th fill = .5 cc). While I am eating a lot less than I used to eat, I am also eating different kinds of foods and at times when I turn to comfort foods, the type of comfort foods I choose now are differnt (sometimes a lot higher in calories than prior banding even though the volume is signifcantly less). I do get the full feeling without feeling like I'm stuck but most times I just eat until I no longer feel hungry (satiety). Remember, satiety does not equal full. Also, if you're not sure, then you might want to follow the band guide: Eat solids (focusing on proteins) Chew thoroughly (20 times per bite) STOP eating after 20 minutes even if you are still hungry No drinking with meals Wait 30 minutes after your meal before you drink Be sure to get in 64-90 ounces of water a day If you follow the above rules religiously for a couple of weeks I think you will find that it becomes habit and maybe the scale will start moving again.

Why did they schedule my first fill 6 weeks after, the day I start full solids?
You guys are in bandster hell but I promise, it gets much better once you get some restriction. It may take 3-6 fills to get there, but you will get there.

Betrayal is a BITCH
Tina, you may waiver back and forth for a while on whether you want to stay married or get divorced. Take your time and if feasible, try a "trial" separation. Also consider whether you were happily married prior to finding out he was cheating on you. Before you knew of his infidelity, overall were you happy with him as a spouse? Did you feel you were partners in life, love, fun AND as parents? If you were dissatisfied before and simply resigned to making the best of it because of the kids, the house, the weight or whatever, then there's probably not much to salvage but if you were relatively happy until you found out about the infidelity, with counseling you may be able to save the marriage and maybe even improve it to a level better than before.

It was pretty clear David didn't want to come back to the ranch and based on his comments, it's clear his addiction to food and current lifestyle is way too strong. He's nowhere near ready for a lifestyle change and even had he come back and been the winner, he would have gained it all back because he doesn't get it. It's been said that the part of our brain that registeres consequences don't get fully developed until the age of 25. Maybe when he's 30 and has his heart attack, he'll get it.

While I wasn't a huge fan of Houston when I first moved here 7 years ago, it's grown me. Everything is available here, cost of living is amongst the best and the economy hasn't been as detrimental here as in other parts of the country. I say c'mon down!

I spoke with my Dr. about Aleve several months ago as it is my favorite pain killer for my back (I have scoliosis which is further aggravated by rheumatoid arthritis and let's face it, FAT). Anyway, he said no to Aleve because it can cause the lining of the pouch to thin. He said if I must have it, then I had to first crush it in applesauce and also take a daily prescription of preventive acid reflux meds. He strongly urged trying to get by on liquid tylenol. After losing 20 lbs the constant back pain has all but disappeared. It does make a cameo appearance now and then but I can usually suffer through it without any medication. It's amazing what 20 lbs can do.

Madame, you have a one track mind! It is disconcerting they would have broadcast reports like that without conducting an exhaustive study first. I'd certainly like to see the actual study. Did they test average weight people to see if they also had the virus? If 30% of fat people had this virus, how did they determine the virus caused obesity and wasn't actually a result of being more susceptible due to an obesity related malady?
