    Hello all, I'm considering (seriously) getting the Lap Band procedure. I am aprox 240 right now and 5'5". My insurance will not cover this, so it will be an out of pocket expense for myself and my family. I'm just trying to do as much research as I can before I decide what/where to go. I have checked with one Dr so far and the cost will be $15K and that includes one year of follow up appts. ANY advice, information, results, problems that anyone would like to share would be VERY helpful to me. Thanks so much!
