    Help needed!!

I use the ItWorks wraps. They really helped me a lot with extra skin.
  2. I was banded in September 2012. I have 4.5cc in an 11cc band. I am 5'9. I started out weighing 286 and am down to 236. I work out 5-6 days a week. I believe that a huge part of my success is because of how and what I eat. At the beginning I had some struggles because I kept trying to eat the things I was before. Now I make it a point to always eat my protein first. Veggies next and THEN (and only then) will I move on to a carb IF I have room (which I normally don't). Protein shakes after workouts are my saving grace. When you first start eating this way it is difficult because your body still craves the sugar. After a couple of weeks your body adjusts and you feel less hungry between meals. Make sure you are fueling your body appropriately. Keep the protein levels up and you will lose. Also measure yourself, I lost two pant sizes without losing a pound. A belt that once didn't fit me on its biggest notch became too big for me within a 5 lb loss. Don't let the scale defeat you!
  3. I was banded on 9/27, down about 28 lbs. Original weight 273.8, current weight 246. I am back to working out. No fills and eating normal foods. I love the band!

    Steri Strips

DesertRose I had my surgery the same day and mine are not budging either. Saw my Dr Friday and he said that if the corners peel to trim them but to let them fall off on their own.

    New Bander

Hi everyone! I'm Sarah!!!! I too was banded on 9/27/12. My first post-op appointment is tomorrow. Still a little sore but feeling pretty good! My boss has let me work from home which is great. I may go back to the office Monday but I'm thinking I will probably work from home for another week. I am down 23 lbs from beginning of the pre-op diet. (Beginning weight 273.8, surgery weight 261, current 250.) Where is everyone from? Excited to have you guys as support!

    Day Three

I am exactly one week post op and yes, that is how I felt on day 3. It was absolutely horrible. It got far better. Drink lots of water and use chewable gas x. My doctor let me have 7 a day. Walk walk and walk too. I know it is tough but it helped a LOT. Also, sugar free popsicles and tea really helped with the tightness. Good luck!
