Hi everyone. I leave for Tijuana, Mexico on March 6th. My parents are watching my kids and thought maybe I need to type up a letter for any dental or medical emergency. My question is, do you think I need to get it notarized? Thanks for any help.

Hi. I will be flying in on the 6th. Meeting my coordinator, Omar at the airport. I will stay at the hospital and start pre-op tests the morning of the 7th. Surgery that same day. I am using Dr. Illan. I will be going to Hotel Lucerna. What is ya'lls pre-op diet like? I have to be on a liquid diet for a week.

My surgery is the same date. Any time I get nervous, I just picture my children without a mother. That is what will happen if I don't change my lifestyle. This surgery is a wonderful tool that will help with that change. Good luck. Everything will be fine.

I am getting mine taken out at the same time as the sleeve. It's an extra $500 with my doctor in Mexico. I am not about to "go under" again when I can just do it at the same time. That would more scars, more time off work. NO thank you

My local Center of Excellence surgeon is apparently the **** around here. Even though my insurance doesn't cover any WLS, I still wanted to go. I listen to his spill about this and that. When asked about his leaks, he says he's only human. WHAT????!!!!!! Really. Dr Illan and Mexico, here I come. For $4,000, no deposit, hospital, hotel, and the wonderful "Omar".

Yes, you can get one from Walgreens or CVS for $10.

Mine cost $55 from the County clerk office. You can also go to the Post office. First thing is you need a passport photo. You can go to any Walgreens or CVS and get one taken for $10. (no smile) You take the photo, driver's license, and original birth cert. Mine said 4-6 weeks, it took 3 weeks. FYI - Since 9/11 you have to send in your birth cert. (no copies). They mail it back.
