  1. I'm from Pemberville Ohio, not far from Toledo.
  2. Generally people just say "you look great" and I say "thanks, I feel great" that seems to be my standard answer.

  5. Wow, reading this has been very informative! Jimmy you are awesome, thank you.
  6. I work nights as a telephone operator at a hospital , I walk in place at my desk. Kind of like a march lifting my legs high. Sometimes I do a half hour or more, sometimes I do 10 minutes per hour. I can still get my phone if it rings.

  9. How do you all eat your PB2? I don't want to start eating bread or crackers.
  10. I agree, if my head thinks its dieting I will crave everything. I now eat whatever I fix for dinner for everyone else. Before surgery I ate a lot of potatoes, or Mac and cheese or whatever carb I fixed with my meat. Now I find that I eat my meat and a little of my vegetables, I just skip the potatoes or whatever because I know I need the protein and I only have so much room in my sleeve and I don't want to fill it with those things. What really amazes me is I don't miss them! If I make spaghetti or something like that, I have a little. I want to cook just one meal for my family and eat with them, I want to feel normal not like I'm dieting. I think that's important for my long term success. I've never felt better and I don't feel like I'm missing a thing, no diet has ever let me feel like that!
  11. Prunes don't do a thing for me, I've been eating several every day and nothing. Can anyone tell me how often you can take MOM , won't your body become dependent on it?
  12. I'm seeing a lot of suggestions for different kinds of protein bars. I was told only whey protein isolate. I've found many kinds with whey protein but only a few with the whey protein isolate, Quest being one of them. Is everyone told the isolate only, or is it just depending on your doctor?

  14. I'm very happy with my decision to have surgery, and I tell anyone who asks how I'm doing it. After all everyone could see how big I was and obviously couldn't stick to anything long term to lose it. I would be more embarrassed to have someone find out later that I had not told the truth about it. No shame in the truth.

  16. I miss Diet Coke! More than food! I would love to go through McDonalds and get a Diet Coke, no food just pop!
  17. Sometimes I just need one drink of water becauseI feel like its stuck in my throat and need to wash it down.
  18. I don't care for my protein shakes either so one of the ways I get my protein in is I use 6 or 8 ounces of milk and 2 scoops of protein powder. Then I have a very small amount to drink but get 44 grams of protein. I also cut up a couple of chicken breasts into chunks on Sundays and then eat them all week 3 oz of chicken has a lot of protein.
