  3. Day 2... Starting to feel much better! I am really glad I spent that first night at the hospital! I was in a lot of pain. I think most of that was due to having the hernia repair. Since being home the heating pad has been a great help. Also walking has been helping also. I know I will feel even better tomorrow. Hope everyone out there is feeling/doing good!

  6. I had my final weigh in today. I had lost weight during my pre op diet. I decided to be truthful and let my Doc know about my "cheat day." I was assured that I will be fine. He told me he has only not been able to perform one band surgery. Her liver was too big due to medical problems. He also let me know that when he first started doing this that he did not even require a pre op diet. He found that the liver be smaller made thing easier, but was not necessarily needed. That made me feel much better. I was so afraid my liver would be too big! So anyways, all is good and I go in for surgery tomorrow morning!!
