wow I must be blessed cause my body fortress is good with soy milk and I am not hungry at all, and my family has still been eating like normal and it has not bothered me at all. stay strong and focused. and the outcome will be grand. my surgery is Sept 12 ,2012

I am also on day 4 and I feel fine , headache was no joke at first but finally go over that....the key is DRINK WATER and V8 fusions ...all day or Vitamin water . I am allowed one can of soup a day so I do this at lunch , today I could not even finish my soup I was too full from all the liquids I have had all day . good luck in your journey.

I also have started my pre-op diet and I have been doing body fortress with soy milk for breakfast and soup for lunch and last shake for dinner and jello inbetween.....but drink lots of liquids and you will be fine . my surgery is Sept 12 good luck

body fortress whey is good , mix it with soy milk and it will keep you full for a few hours.

I can not do oatmeal at all , but I do have lots of soups ready LOL have you had your surgery already?

5x a day??? thats alot ...I only have to have 2 a day and I can have a can of soup and greek yogurt or sugar free jello , and Popsicles .and of course crystal light and V8 , but thank you for the info , good luck

I am a mother of 2 beautiful daughters and a wife to a wonderful husband. I am 42 yr old and weigh 252. I dont feel "fat" or I should say I didnt feel like that until I saw a picture of myself sitting in a chair on a fishing trip . I had kidney cancer in 2004 and had to have my right kidney removed. I have a few cyst that come and go on my pancreas ( not cancer) , and this is when I decided that I want to have the lap band done and get my weight and health in control. I have been through alot during the past 10 yrs. I lost my brother in 06 and then my mother committed suicide in 2011. I have been over weight for probably 20 yrs or so . I decided that I WANT TO LIVE!!! so here I am about to have the lap band done on Sept 12 with Dr. Adam Smith. wish me luck and good luck to you as well and GOD BLESS

how soon could one go back to work after having the lapband done? I am a dental assistant and not sure how much time to ask for when the time comes .

Hello I am new to this site and have found lots of wonderful information, so thank you all for that. I have a consultation appt coming up soon and I am very excited . can someone tell me what to expect. I am also having this financed and was wondering how long would I have to wait to actually have the surgery. do you have to do some sort of classes ?? I am going to a seminar on the 25th . thank you for any info.
