  • I had my first fill 2 days ago and I would describe it as totally uneventful! I literally couldn't even feel the needle going in since I still have no sensation in that area because of the incisions.

  • Good Luck Ladies! You guys will be fine

  • It was so easy!!thanks for the support everyone i got 2 1/2 cc.

8 am ..... My iphone is acting crazy Lol

Hope it was as easy as most. Fills are not a big deal. I worried so much about my first one, now I look forward to then. I think now though I am getting close to restriction. This last fill (4th) I felt a big diffence in how I felt and how it felt to eat.

(I had my lap band 4 weeks ago). I hope it goes well but I just wanted to share my experience since it was really, really no big deal. The nurse literally just did the injection and I got up and left. I feel great now and had no side effects. Best wishes for an easy fill!

Was your first fill done in the doctor's office or in radiology? I am nervous because my doctor stated my port was deep and had to be done in radiology.

Mine was done in my doctors office by the nurse practitioner. (NYU hospital in NYC which is a bariatric center of excellence -so I feel confident about the practice)
