Deflated today

Hi everyone, it’s been a good while since I have came to this site. I was banded in 2012 and yesterday I had some scopes done ( colonoscopy and EGD ) they had believed my band slipped. Went to the Lapband dr today and did a barium swallow test and an unfill . Thank God no slip. Guess I just let it heal and try again????

@chenie69 I’m sorry to hear that you’ve had a really rough time and a bad day. Did your doctor suggest you give it time to heal? What symptoms were you experiencing that caused you to get tests done? Sending warm wishes for better days ahead. [emoji258]

I was in the same situation as you. No slip but my band was unfilled. Luckily the pouch went back into place but the month without fluid in my band was tough and scary. Afraid of eating and gaining weight. Luckily tomorrow the dr will start filling the band again and hopefully I can get back to my old weight. Just a few lbs to lose but it's hard to do.
